I agree with that. It is not your fault that you are born poor. It's your choice if you still want to die poor.

There are a lot of stories about rags to riches.

It all depends on people on how dedicated they are towards reaching their goals.

so your saying the people in around the world who live in poverty are there for lack of goals .. you have to move to where the money is to be made and have the skills ..to make money..

there are someoneing like 800k homeles us vets in the Usa ..

you can launch an extensive study about why people are poor or live in poverty...

you need goal, skills .. the ability to see opportunities ..and access ti resources ..

stop wondering why the poor are poor and focus on why people who are born poor or live poor for a good chunk of their lives ..turn around and become rich ..it's a much smaller group.. and they write books on how they did it ...

I don't even think it is so far as having a lack of goals. I think people have the goals, they just don't have the willpower to see them through. As with any life altering change, people are willing to put in the hard work (new years resolutions for example).

People also have a number of limiting beliefs that say 'I couldn't do that,' 'people like me can't be rich,' or 'they're so lucky to be rich.' Mindset affects whether people will even start working towards their goals.

Another thing is that in this day and age people are concerned with instant gratification. We get it in the form of snacks, microwave meals, credit cards, loans... People will not sacrifice now for a greater life in the future.

I think everyone knows what they need to do to succeed. And everyone has access to he materials that will teach the how to succeed. Most people, deep down, just don't want to put the effort in to do it.

Y'all must be kidding right. Lol. The 100 rags to riches stories are very nice for reading purposes. But millions of other rags to middle class achievements just don't make the news.

This is how those motivational speakers get rich. They tell you the stories of the few that were poor but now have private jets.

But they won't mention the guy that was poor but now make 50k a year at a good job just by studying and taking up a good career.

I like a good Million dollar lottery story as well. But you must stay realistic because the timing and luck means everything.

well if you look at how social programs are now .. up to a certain income leve people get a lot of free stuff .. when you go about that level ..you lose some or all of the free stuff .. which probably would mean by earning more movey you actually have a drop of lifestyle .. and you have to work more .

so unless someone is going to make enough beyon the point to balance off or come out ahead.. they don't earn more money on the books ..

as minimum wages get pushed up a lot of the working poor will reduce their hours worked ..so as not to threaten the free stuff ..

human being respond to incentivres ..why work to earn what someone is giving you for free ....

so people get locked into these programs ..that grow the size of government.. because if they vote it is for more free stuff ..and higher taxeds on the people earning money .

The poverty is a mental sickness

In all honesty. A poor person that found a way to make 60k a year via a good job is equivalent to a rich person that makes 600k a year via investments.

The rich are born around the money realm while the poor is born around the poverty realm.

So making 60k a year and living a nice middle class life is definitely a success story for the poor person.

Its just not as glamorous as a rags to riches story.
