John is 90%(maybe more) of all the members on WF.He found out about Internet Marketing, and he loved the idea that he can make money from home, and why wouldn't he?John also found an awesome forum where there are lots of people who are willing to help with pieces of advice and he starts addressing questions.How to make money online?What are the best ways to make money online?And many others.John is not going to use the search button on the forum because it's much simpler to start a new thread. Also, he feels better when he is the one that gets helped by the warriors rather than searching for their answers on other threads.
John is learning new things about Internet Marketing and slowly he gets to the point where he has enough pieces of information to continue his journey.He eventually starts a website in a niche that he saw others that are making money, and for a week, he tries to put some content on it.He does that but before the weekend, he lost his enthusiasm because he is not interested in the niche and creating content on something you are not interested in is annoying and energy consuming.Another John gets to the part where he needs traffic, he has a website and decent content and he starts driving traffic, after a week he gets 7 new visitors, after two weeks maybe 14 and after four weeks 28 ?John thinks at those visitors just as numbers not as they would be real persons and real potential customers.He gets billed after a month, and he believes that he failed with the website,28 visitors is not the traffic that he wants after he saw on WF people who get thousands in no time.He just lost money, and he feels disappointed in himself.John will try something else that he saw on WF or other places, a new method that will make him money in one week.He gets hooked, and he tries it just to get to the same outcome as before.He starts new threads with new questions that have been answered before but something is missing, and he is still not making money.

When you create a website or start with a new technique of making money, you need to learn to treat it as a business, a real one!Don't think of it just as "something I do on the internet that could make money."Imagine that the website you create is a big company that later would have many employees and a big building with offices, it's something that you will invest money in and as a reward for your work it will make a profit.You need to love doing it otherwise, it will never feel good, not even if you will start to make some cash.
When a house is build they don't begin with the roof and continue from there, it's the same here; you don't go for the advanced methods when you don't have a base of understanding how things work, what is Internet Marketing, how it started and how it changed.
I recommend you to make a search on youtube for "internet marketing documentary" and watch the first result that comes up "Add To Cart-Go Behind The Scenes Of Internet Marketing" it's an excellent documentary that will add a brick to your fondation.
Also as an Internet Marketer, you will have to sell something.A Hat, a t-shirt, a book, a pdf file, a beat,informations and so on, it can be yours, or it can be the product of someone else, either way, your job is to sell.The name marketing should be enough for you to know this, and by the way, do you know what the word MARKETING means?
