#1 Secret to Any Success is Having the Right Mindset

Before you even begin your business, there's one thing that's even more important... Contrary to popular belief, the MOST important asset in your quest to making real money online are not courses, tools or software.

It's what you already have YOUR MIND or...Your Mindset To Be Specific. You have the ability to change your own life. It starts with knowing what you want and WANTING it bad enough.

If you want it bad enough like I was, you'll go out of your way and comfort zone to make it happen, no matter what it takes. That's the gift we have as humans. Too many people today, especially beginners, expect to be spoon fed and have money handed to them without work.

They expect to have success HANDED to them on a silver platter. If that doesn't happen, they get a refund. It's ridiculous if you think about it. The worse are the serial refunders. They will never get anywhere in business or life.

No matter how good the product, course or software is -you still need to work on it. You still need to build YOUR own business.I don't mean to rant but it makes me sick when people whine and complain about having to learn, having to take action and having to invest in their business like a domain name, hosting, auto-responder etc.

I mean.. It's all for you to build your own business, for goodness sake!!!

    AMEN!

Your thoughts lead to feelings and those feelings lead to the actions we take and those actions are leading to the results we are getting.

    Want different results?

    Change your thinking!

    How do we do that?

    Mentorship!

The same wind blows on us all. It's the setting of the sail that determines where we go.

It's sad but very few people follow this rule and those are the broke people who complain, sue and go on strike.

    Bingo.

If you think the answer to your success is dependent on other people explaining everything to you, you're in for a really bad time.

The mindset that one should have is, "I, and I alone, am responsible for any results I have."

If you aren't willing to take the time to learn and implement, it's pretty much a lost cause.

Thank goodness I formulated the right mindset thanks to Cosmic Master hypnosis.

I used to think that I was not "socially viable" but after being programmed, I started gravitating to amazing opportunities like everything was magnified under a microscope.

I started seeing through things as if I had super abilities. Sounds corny I know but you really have to experience it to see what I mean.

    Totally agree.

I think the major issue today is that people are just not willing to take complete responsibility for their success in business - or in life in general.

Expecting to be spoonfed is a recipe for failure.

Thanks. I have an ebook on mindset I plan on giving away o my website when I launch it . because I believe the first thing when starting a business or even for new entrepreneurs, is you most have the right mindset, a POSITIVE MINDSET.

I've never met a negative thinking successful person. and if so, it didn't last long for them.

The same goes for when you are choosing a business / JV partner .
and not just business but people you choose to associate with in your personal life as well.

once you get it ..you understand it.. but if you don't get it.. the best explanations will rarely help..

assembling hamburgers at a fast food joint ..is only worth so much..if you want to make more money ..you need to get the skills to do more valuable things ..not stand around with a sign demanding higher minimum wage ..while the ceo's of the companies are looking at robots that can do your job ..

if you are going to make more money..you have to provide more value ..and a lot of people just don't get that ..

so the positive mindset involves the hard work of building skills that make you more valuable

        Good point!

For those who are content and comfortable with working a regular job with a few perks and benefits, that is cool. I also would understand that not everyone wants to be an entrepreneur or business owner, and entrepreneurship.

It's always good to be ambitious for something in life, not just in business. It's all about the mindset.

Many everyday ordinary people don't realize they have a business. Think about it! You don't have to be incorporated to be a business.

You don't have to have employees to be a business. And you don't have to make a lot of money to be a business. All you have to do is provide a good or service in an attempt to make profit.

Juan, thx for this thread, but may I just share my concern that this all in your hands, or better to say your mind approach can be both overwhelming and frustrating. If I fail to achieve my goals and long anticipated success, then this means something is wrong with my mindset. Right? But, what about the circumstances, market, competition, and some other things more or less beyond my control? This was I am going to keep pushing and punishing myself until I either reach the right mindset state or explode. Have to admit that I am a little bit tired of all of these believe in yourself and everything will be OK calls. Maybe it is just me, so I really hope you do not mind. I definitely did not want to be a partybreaker. Cheers! Nesha

Having the right mindset, has to do with everything in your life, not just in business. Not everyone is dealt the same cards, but its all about how to play yours.

My first online business was a success, not a hug success but it worked. I sold toys and gadgets on a free "geocities" page I designed when I was a junior in high school.. that was late 2002. The first week, I made no sales. At the time my aunt suggest I use paypal to accept credit card payments online. The next week, I made my first sale and I was excited and also scared ! I was nervous because I didn't want to get sued or anything crazy like that lol

Just like crack, they say that first hit is the best feeling in the world, then you are hooked wanting to experience that first hit again and again. Just like anything else you may experience and fall in love it the first time, a certain music, sport, hobby, etc.

My thing was entrepreneurship ! Ever since I made that first sale, my life has changed, my mindset changed, my eyes opened.... I was enlightened. And I wanted more!

I made sure I was legit, bank accounts, business registered , Inc, LLC etc. EIN, merchant accounts, web hosting, auto-responders..

So the next 5 years I was dabbling in testing different type of businesses, online, offline, etc even did some business opportunities. Those were my years of trial and error. Testing, making mistakes, failures, learning what happened and to try a new way to approach, tested, worked = success. And I didn't have to fail at inventing the light bulb 10,000 times like Thomas Edison .

Going through that trial and error era in my entrepreneurial career allowed me to learn the business through experience, be very cautious of scams and smoke mirror marketing techniques, learning the business models I wanted to use, and more own today. I also been introduced to a few MLM's and met with some folks, I immediate learned it was BS to me and not worth my time or energy getting involved when I could just launch my own MLM with in a month. lol Im about ownership and control of companies, and products I sell along with labeling and branding.

I didn't know any other entrepreneurs or internet marketers at the time when I first started out like very many people have it today. Then somehow I began doing research and found this guy named "Ewen Chia" today a top guru in the online marketing community . I have learned a lot from him the moment I received an email from his auto-responder back in 2004 . I remember showing a snapshot of his earning which shows "$7,000 in 2 days" Of course none of this will just instantly happen overnight without data, or any prior knowledge or experience .

You won't learn how to make money or be of some success overnight, just overnight. It has taken me 5-7 years on and off to learn how to crack the code to make money overnight !

2006 I cracked the money making code. At the time I was a serial entrepreneur, very versatile portfolio. from owner my own info products, SAAS systems, tea brands, supplements, skincares, retail brands, and even forex broker firm. oh and did a little affiliate marketing on the side.

Circumstances, market, competition, and some other things more or less beyond my control? The best answer for this is DON'T BE AFRAID IT!

Competition is something you should never stress to worry about. I look at competition as a good tool to get ideas to improve your own business, campaign, brand etc. Be creative and improve your image, marketing, and unique selling point/position. In the forex and stock market, I have made capital gains of $500k+ when the market hit rock bottom in 2008, I opened a retail store that year and didn't do so well. and learn why quickly when I closed it . Because things were moving slow and people weren't out shopping like they were, dollars weren't circulating. I remember invest in the stock market and forex then in McDonalds, AMEX, VISA, AMAZON, 3-4 years later. they shot through the roof and then I pulled out. I have my own trade strategies, not the typical invest and hold on for dear life for the rest of your life . lol

Remeber the world and the things that are moving in it may be beyond your control, but your LIFE is yours and your have FULL CONTROL of it.

I have never given up and always set goals, learn from my failures, always believed in myself, never been afraid to take smart risk with plan B's and C's. I've always have a vision, long term and short. The key to it all is mental and spiritual. For all of the business people, colleagues and friends I've met on my journal, they have all evolved the time I first met them and where they are in life now. This journey allows one to find them self

Don't me wrong, I didn't pray and expect my accomplishments to magically or mysteriously fall out of the sky.

...It happened because, I PUT. IN. THE. WORK DURING THE PERSEVERANCE

You really have way too much time on your hands. Who do you think cares that you brush your teeth and rise your mouth? may I suggest that when you rinse your mouth, don't stand on your head. That way, you won't get 'water on the brain.'

Can you be any more self-absorbed over nothing?

        Cheers. - Frank

P.S. I would list my daily regimen for you, but folks get very upset when I use the word 'masturbate' in my posts, especially if I use it 5 or 6 times in one post.

I could not agree with you more!

Science has found that the best predictor of success in life is your mindset. People who achieve great things believe that they can improve and grow as people, and this is called growth mindset. There are the individuals who are frustrated in their attempts to achieve their goals, and they have a fixed mindset.

There are some ways in which you can change your fixed mindset they are; paying attention to your thoughts and see if you are telling yourself something repeatedly that is negative such as ' Can I do this?' 'I am going to be a failure'.

Once you have acknowledged that you have a fixed mindset, then you have made your first step to undermining your potential for success. Next, you have to work on changing your thought pattern to a positive one. Maybe just adding the small but powerful word 'yet' to the end of your thought such as 'I do not understand this, yet' will help you change your mindset.

Having the right mindset will make all the difference to your success. It's such a simple way to be successful and yet people often spend their entire life or career trying to master it

ha before i read this i was explain to Juan.. that the belief that you are not good enough..itself is not a limiting belief..unless you get into a negative mental tailspin

if you have the belief..i'm not good enough yet..but i am doing this this and this..and can soon start dooing this this and this..to get better..

and you have a system in place that tracks and records progress and a realistic expectation of progress ..

most millionaires have several business failures and took at least 10 years to make their first million ..

a lot of people seem to just look at the freaks and think they can get rich real fast ..and retire in 2-3 years ..

    I TOTALLY agree with this!

"The best laid plans of mice and men" springs to mind!

I have recently started my first business and regardless of how thorough my planning is in every area, I am constantly getting curveballs thrown at me, and I know I'm not alone in that!

I'm a really positive person but I'm at the point now where I always factor in a Plan B and C as I know I'm going to need them. It's a running joke in my household that I'll do it this way, and when that doesn't work I'll try that way!

The point is, my mindset could have easily led me to give up at the first hurdle but because I see failures (not that I'm a fan of that word) and incorrect decisions as the fastest and most effective learning tool at our disposal, I just look for another option and carry on rather than letting them defeat me.

    Thanks for the post!
