When logic dominates your choice of words.

How do you connect to the emotional side of your client's prospects?

Ask yourself if you could make your customers' prospects feel one emotion, what would it be? Then think of what story/powerful context and words you can use to convey pain of the status quo versus the value of what your customer offers (superiority of your customer's solution, prestige, intelligence). For inspiration, ask your customer stories on how they made their customers happy or those times their customers expressed
    their appreciation for their solution.

You have to be a person that is not ego-centric, you spend your time watching them,
instead of talking to yourself. Soon you will know everything about them.

And the emotional side comes from having empathy, that grows the longer you watch
them being busy in their own little world using their cell phones. They not recognize anything
in their surroundings, while you have to be that person that recognizes everything in your
    and their world.

How about connecting with their 'fears' and painting them a picture of what would happen if they do not move forward with your customer's solutions.
Connect also with their self-esteem by demonstrating to them how they are making an intelligent decision by buying your customer's product over their competitors.

  • Logic is a strident disemboweler.

Frontfoot guys dish it, control the either/or.

But beyond the unnebulous, even frontfoot guys pause to take sum next step.

So you gotta offer sumthin' more than limbo's equally doomed rangea choices.

(Unless your clients're runnin' sum kinda limbo-themed business, in which caseya bend over backwards, preferably in lycra.)

Whatever their pitch, clients're kinda sayin' HELP.

Phrasin' may be sophistictated, logical an' demandin' — but they are here withya cos they are stuck.

Force movement on 'em, they gonna curl into a ball.

Conduit yourself between their open hand an' some future gonna work out, an' you mebbe got unstasis.

When ur trapped in limbo, heartfelt offera unstasis is a gift.
