Are You Setup For Motivation?

Hey Warriors,

I just finished a quick video for you and have literally just added it to my blog and sent it out to my list, but i thought i should share it with you too!

It's a short video on a little change you can make on your pc to improve your motivation from the very start and throughout the time your working (or suppose to be).

I would really appreciate your feedback and any other methods you have to keep your self motivated and ready to suceed!

Thanks

Nice tip Tom - amazing what you can use these PCs for eh? Personally, I don't like my own wallpaper/desktop cluttered, but that's just personal preference of course. I can understand why it is a good idea though.

What I do is draw - manually using Flipchart & Pens - pictures of my goals for the next 5 years. Then I photograph the page and I put the resulting image on my website. That way I can look at it in an instant whenever I wish and from wherever I choose.

Yep Will thats another great 'up' strategy compared to this!

Before i had just a plain background colour because i was more worried about my pc's performance (it gives a slight increase) but then if i wasn't motivated then that pc performance increase was useless as it wasn't making me any cash.

Next video i do will be showing people how to make your own background wallpapers to do exactly as you said!

Will I like that idea with the pens - very engaging!

Personally, some people might find it cheesy, but I made a vision board, The Secret style.

Vision board instructions for those that don't know-
    1) Buy $20 cork board.
    2) Find images of the things you really want, the things you want to achieve, do or have. The things that move you.
    3) Send them to walgreens for printing. You want these images looking bad @$$. When you see them you think "That's for me".
    4) Put it up on your wall above you bed. Look at it when you wake up and when you go to sleep. Work towards that. I found it hard to put up because I had to accept *those* were my actual goals.

Tom - I love your idea, very much like a digital vision board. My brother did the same thing to stick strictly to his workout routine and it's really worked for him. Best of luck

      Yep Exactly!

The next thing im investing in is a gigantic magnetic whiteboard or something so i can stick photos on it and also write and write my goals down and also have a seperate section for a todo list and plans!

I feel it will be a great investment for the future!

Do it up! I love when people put up their goals, I'm always trying to get my friends to do it as well. Great two books to check out on to do lists - Getting Things Done by David Allen, and Zen To Done. The latter is an ebook, kind of a simplified version. Highly recommended, just don't get too caught up in organizing your todo's instead of doing them

The goal/pictures will definately be a great investment for the future!

Going to have to check out both of them!

I never write a todo list but then i am good at remembering thing's its just that i hate actually doing them

Plus i always feel like writing a todo list wastes even more time... who knows maybe it will help!
