Eat That Frog! is a book by Brian Tracy with a very simple premise.
(I am not encouraging you to buy this book, just giving you an overview of the idea it discusses.)

What Is A "Frog"?

Your "frog" is the ugly, pesky task that makes you sigh and groan to even think about.

What you have to do is tackle the frog as the very first thing you do, as a priority over everything else you need to get finished that day.

Help! I Have More Than One Frog

Sometimes, you have a basket full of frogs, but you can't kiss them and make them into Princes.

You need to prioritise them, choose the BIGGEST and UGLIEST frog to tackle first.

A lot of the time that one frog can be the thing that's causing your procrastination in the first place. Then your frogs will just snowball over time, growing and growing until it's almost unmanageable and you have 0 energy or willingness to do anything about it! Ribbit.

The Taste Is Delicious

Starting off your day with achieving to eat just one frog, one day at a time, may be the answer to helping you overcome procrastination.

I hope others here can find this very simplistic interpretation to be of some help.

I liked Eat that Frog and The Slight Edge. Sometimes internet marketing people read a lot of personal development books but forget them or never apply them.

I would recommend that people start incorporating the principles of these two books first (eat that frog and slight edge- principle of 1% improvement everyday or doing the things that are easy not to do but will make a difference over the long term) into their habit/work routine first.

Our willpower is limited so automate these ESSENTIAL WORK HABITS FIRST or consistently apply these principles several months before moving on to the next personal development book.
