Best personal development resources?

Hey guys,

Did anyone ever notice that personal development is one of the most unique areas of this forum? It's one of the only ones that isn't centred around making money online, and instead is all about ways to make yourself better. This reflects the fact that people in business know that in order to succeed, they have to plot a path to self improvement through personal development. The whole concept of trying to adhere to a higher ideal as a human being is a really cool thing, a very inspiring concept.

Does anyone know of an online resource where I can find more information about personal development? Things like www.paulgraham.com have been super helpful to me especially because I am interested in startups and growing companies and other things of that nature. I'm looking for a website or a repository of articles, something where I can see a bunch of different self development content in one place. Any input from the community here would be greatly appreciated.

For me it's just 2 books:
    - The Slight Edge: teaches you about consistency and how to have it in abundance, gives you a long-term investor paradigm for your self-development.
    - Be Obsessed or Be Average: teaches you everything you need to know about thriving in all areas of your life.

I've read hundreds of books, attended seminars and done it for many years - nothing beats these two books for me. Sometimes less information is better, if it's the right information.

To start and run a business requires a totally different mindset.

It's not always about the money you make, but the person you become in the process.

I have noticed that network marketing in particular has a ton of personal development materials attached to it. Why? Because it's one of the toughest business models out there.

As far as my favorite resources I like Brian Tracy and Jim Rohn. I watch their videos for hours on YouTube.

Brian Tracy's content is actually results based material you can put to use and is more than your typical "I feel good" type of info.

Before you open up your credit card and start an online business, the first thing that you want to do is to start working on yourself.

First book you should ever read is:

Think And Grow Rich By Napoleon Hill.

Being happy is the secret to productivity. In my opinion. Try googling this book about 100 simple secrets of happy people by David Niven.
