Anyone knows how to deal with real pain of the virtual world and technology effectively?

I'm convinced that I'm not the only one who suffers a small nervous breakdown every time my computer doesn't work or some online service becomes unavailable. At the same time, I'm sick and tired of those stories that we have become too much dependent on the technology. I mean, what are the acceptable alternatives? Should we go back living in the caves, where we don't have to worry about the strength of WiFi signal and stuff?

I'm also fully aware that I have to change some things about the way I feel and behave when I experience a tech problem. Otherwise, I'm really going to get ill or something serious will happen to me. Windows 10 was driving me crazy. I think I should sue grandpa Microsoft and ask some compensation for all the pain and suffering. Finally, I listened to the advice of some of my colleagues and friends, which means that it is a healthier alternative to switch to Linux. Unfortunately, even Linux isn't perfect and flawless as I thought. My laptops are loosing wireless connection every now and then. I can write you a novel how I have tried to fix these problems.

Not to mention the cable guys who literally had to camp in my home to fix my wireless network. Why? Well, I paid for 100Mb/s and I expect to see at least 80 or something on my laptop. Is that too much to ask? I got between 30 and 40Mb/s. So, we realized that I live in the good old house with the impressive walls that can protect me from the A-bomb, but can't let through the wireless signal. My hat off to these guys who did some hocus pocus with an additional router. I ended with the signal strength between 60 and 70Mb/s. Thier word of advice was use the cable our dear friend.

Those are only two most recent and most painful examples I shared with you. But honestly, I think I'm going to live between 2 and 5 years less because of all the stress and pain I experienced dealing with them. Now, we have the full house of devices. You know how it goes kids, tablets, smartphones, the list goes on and on. In my home I'm the IT guy for everything. At work, I also have to take care of everything related to our machines and technology.

You know what, I think about launching a startup. Something like tech first aid. A team of virtual assistants who help with installations and other problems. Also, I will have to hire a professional therapist to try to calm down all those frustrated people while we're trying to fix their problems. Do you believe that I had to restart my laptop while writing this. Why? Lost the wireless signal on my Linux laptop, that's why. Luckily for me Chromium Web Browser saved all what I previously typed. I mean it's not a big deal, but there's no way I would have written the whole thing from the scratch. I can only imagine what these things to do my blood pressure and nervous system.

So please, what do you do when something isn't working right in your home or at work? Can you keep it cool or your smartphones and laptops fly through the window in a matter of seconds? What's happening with all those poor developers who have to deal with these things for a living? When I was younger, I know there was this band Rage Against the Machine or something. Maybe, I should listen to them. Something needs to change or the next time you hear from me it's going to be from the hospital. So, please help with your advice or effective solutions.

When you make a plan, there is a God up there who laughs.

Whatever you plan to do - no matter how perfect it is, there will always be energy&time-sucking obstacles.

I think the only way to avoid these is: Give it time - you will learn eventually.

Secondly, DON'T EVER TRY TO DO EVERYTHING. Do what you are good at and outsource the rest.

    Thanks

Thx J. I desperately needed to hear something like that. Speaking about the divine force and stuff, with no disrespect, of course, I think that we are trapped by these merciless digital lords. Something like the Lord of Digital Rings, lol. I'm not saying that we should fight Terminators, but who needs a Terminator, when a simple problem with my laptop can kill me quite effectively, lol. Thank you. Appreciated.
