Ask the Gods For Inspiration

Whenever I find myself in a tough situation, facing unknown odds, doubting my own odds, theyre losing that sense of direction and purpose that I generally have.. I always stop and give thanks and seek guidance from the gods.

Now I dont mean the regular God as in the capital GOD, I mean the gods of success! The gods of inspiration! The gods of what is deep within me that wants to be created in this life.

What I do is to simply stop my movements, physical AND mental, it means that I sit down, I stopped thinking, and I begin writing my goals down and remind myself why am doing what Im doing and what Im trying to achieve by doing it.

Life has a way of repeatedly punching you in the face and kicking in the balls before you get what you want and its your job to get up again, and again, and again, with POSITIVE EXPECTANCIES that maybe this time you wont get kicked in the balls (Or at least not in the face!).

Eventually, those that persist long enough in their efforts will attain victory, will get what they wanted, will look back and see how much it was worth it to keep going IN-SPITE of the conditions.

But in order to get that persistence, in order to get that ability to keep going forward with optimism and focus, you have to continually remind yourself WHY youre doing what youre doing, and WHERE youre going!

Your goals of the biggest source of fuel that you have, and just like a car that has to refuel after driving a certain a while, you have a responsibility to refuel yourself every day (preferably every morning and every night)) if you want to have the fuel to last for the whole trip.

I never worry about my present day situation, Ive been through so much shit that I learned that whatever comes Ill be able to face it. Ive also been through so many good times that I learned that you can easily find yourself in a bad situation before even noticing.
What I am very worried about and pay dear attention to, is continual growth and movement towards my goals.

This isnt a one time thing while Im doing a sprint and trying to reach my goals as fast as possible just so I can rest on my laurels and be happy the rest of my life, this is a lifelong journey of continually pushing to higher highs and higher lows, this is a continual chase of self-realization and self actualization, all in the direction of my dreams.

Most people tell you to stop thinking about the future and stop looking into the past and just focus on the now, I use the now in order to take the actions I need but my sight is always on the future.

When youre driving, you always look forward, and thats exactly what Im doing with my life. Im always looking one step ahead while being aware of the destination. The driving and maneuvering and refueling its just part of my way of getting there, its about the destination, not your journey, But Im fully aware that this destination is an infinite one.

Search your life doesnt look or feel like forward motion at the moment, I recommend you stop and get counseling from the gods.

Reach deep within and ask yourself what is this destination youve been avoiding? Where are you parked and why arent you moving anymore? What does it take to make sure that the destination stays clear? What does it take to make sure that you have the persistence to keep going? How do you refuel your vehicle on the way to your destination?

These are just some of the questions you want to ask yourself on your path to greatness, these are not easy questions but he had to ask them if you hope of ever taking something from this life rather than just giving.

I wish you great success on this journey. Youll need the persistence to make sure that you get there and finish this life with his little regrets as humanly possible.
