Do You Have An Attitude?

... Of Gratitude?

I never used to be grateful for
anything. (And took all my "Blessings"
etc. for granted.)

However through my experience with
Mental Illness (Schizophrenia) and
because I'm now living a
wonderful/amazing Life I'm grateful
for everything on an almost a daily
basis. : ) (And it feels great.)

Something from my "primary" Website
(BlastFromThePast) is this sentiment
from Wallace D. Wattles ("The Science
Of Getting Rich"):

"The more gratefully we fix our mind
on the Supreme when good things
come to us, the more good things we
will receive, and the more rapidly
they will come."

That's been true in my experience. And,
no matter where you're at in Life, you
have many, many things to be grateful
for. (Like literally hundreds.)

I was just searching Google and found this
article you may find helpful:

https://positivepsychologyprogram.co...ude-exercises/

Just a quick tip for today. Thank you for
reading.
: )

Couldn't agree with you more, really liked the article especially the
"You are also ignoring the strength of social connection that gratitude creates. Not only will practicing gratitude benefit you psychologically and socially, but physically you will feel better as well."
Its very true how much it can affect you physically, have you heard of law of attraction?

Yeah. That's partly what I'm providing with my Website. Mostly it's just practical Advice from those New Thought/LOA Authors.

As i get it i find these quotes are nice and all ..but carrying over from the thread on problems .

you can't stop at just being great full for the good thing you have you also have to learn to be great full for the problems you have or have had and over come ..

the problems you have serve you in some way .they would not be there if you did not on some level want or need them there ..so be greatfull to them for their service

Absolutely. Good point. : ) (That's something I should have mentioned.)

Sometimes it's not obvious how a problem/challenge helped until afterwards when you look back on it. Being grateful at the time is something I have been practicing for a while.

absolutely agree with you. If it wasn't for the problems I've had I wouldn't have become who I am and I wouldn't have gotten the opportunities I did. So I agree you gotta be grateful for the both the problems and the good times you can always find the good in anything when you look for it, problem is most people will only see problems as problems and not use them to grow.

It never ceases to amaze me how out of adversity a new character is formed. It seems that for most of us it takes a real game changer in life to find an inner peace that brings riches in many ways.

I know. It's a wonderful and amazing process. A quotation I really like is: "We are like jewels, shaped with the hammer and chisel of adversity." - Rick Warren ("The Purpose Driven Life")

(The following is all personnal belief .. no need for those reading to agree with it )

that is karma ..If you believe you have had other lifetimes ..what happens is you generally develop patterns that repeat from lifetime to lifetime..which on a spiritual level. cause a great deal of boredom and fatigue from facing the same problems over and over lifetime after lifetime ..so at some point something major happens to shake things up

In fact there needed to be a common prediction or an expected end times so you where not signing in to an eternatiy of this ..but at this point we have gone of the end times path ..And karma is going crazy ..because it is not going to let enyone hunker down and just exist any more ..

We all have choices now and the scary thing is where before these big nasty life changing events where 1 or two a lifetime or maybe ever decade or so ..they now will hit every few years ..if you need big hellish nasty events to get you to change ..because the world is changing rapidly ..

so you either live the let Karma kick your ass life ..where you cope with and hide from and treat the symptoms of your problems without fixing the problems and every few years something will blow up .. for you to have to deal with ..

Or you can say **** karma ..i will either solve these problems or light the fuse and blow shit up then pick up the pieces and build a different and better life .

Karma blew my life up 8 years ago.. i lit the fuse and blew it up again when i took the 3000 i had and came out to las vegas with what i had in a suitcase and carry on with nbo idea what i was going to do ..

from having bi polar disorder and high functioning autism ..with a lit of sub condition from seasonally effected disorder ..I personally look at them as conditions verse illnesses to be cured ..i destroyed much of my life before getting the diagnosis 9 years ago.. spent way to much energy trying to act normal..

then my life fell apart when i went the treat illnesses with medication route .

i am not sick nor am i disabled and i do not need to be medicated for the way i am .. to appease normal people

(this was not meant to be an attack on you.. personally .. but the tone of this post can be taken as an attack.. )

sense coming to Las Vegas and getting into my hustle pretty much all the quirks in my personality from my mental condition work in to how i now make money .. and im sure Jonathan as learned to work with his quirks and build success ..I think it may be much more difficult for someone who is essentially normal..to become successfull in business ..

not to be mean with a rebuttal.. but as posted earlier in this thread . i am greatfull for what i have gone through..I have been able to transmute most of the shit i went through into rich soil to grow the life i want to ..

A normal average life life is not in the cards for me so i am growing and building a greate life for myself . the only thing i have to be upset about is if i do not do what i need to do to make my life better .and continue to improve my life .

It selfish yes but in reality or my reality . it is the only way i can help the most number of people improve their lives ..and i have helped many others in the last year ..my biggest regret is not getting on a plane and comming to las Vegas ten years ago when i first thought i needed to come out here .. instead i stayed where i was and my life fell apart.

I have a roof over my head a bed to sleep in a working air conditioner, food in my fridge and a way to earn money to pay for it all and buy beers while i work .

so i am great full . i ralk to so many people who are homeless and eat out of trash cans or beg for money .. and heck a lot of people who make more money than i do who can't keep a roof over their head .

I know how to make my life better ..it's not about hope or belief.

Now i have to figure out how to end up living in Hawaii haha

Jonathan 2.0 your post was right on point for me. Earlier today I was reading an email which reminded me of a practice I used to have: noting 3 things I am grateful for everyday. When I stop to think, it really is possible to notice things to be grateful for every day, no matter the current circumstance. Yes, sometimes it is more challenging to do so but still doable. Thanks for your reminder too!

Pat H - I have a calendar which has a daily exercise on it to find 3 things you're grateful for each day myself.... as well as 3 things you're looking forward to and 3 things you're going to do today to make your life better...you're supposed to put an "X" down for each day you do those things, it does help.

Tony Robbins also has said several times, especially lately with his new book to exchange your expectations for appreciation.

Welcome. : ) Yeah "The Science Of Getting Rich" is a wonderful little book. Here's another quotation that I like:

There is nothing wrong in wanting to get rich. The desire for riches is really the desire for a richer, fuller, and more abundant life; and that desire is praiseworthy. The man who does not desire to live more abundantly is abnormal, and so the man who does not desire to have money to buy all he wants is abnormal.

    Hey guys,
I would like to know what are your best strategies to stay motivated and productive. My first step was easy - educate. I was reading all day long - Kiyosaki, Hill but as well less known names such as Bray or Duhigg. I somehow got to read a book Habit by Bray and I loved it (despite I bought the version for 13$ and 3 days after I found out that I could get it for free from here : but it was worth it) . Well as well I subscribed for that program or whatever it is and they are sending pretty good articles every 10-14 days - but it is just small stimuli, small motivation and I feel like I am struggling to get hyped again as at the beginning after reading few pages of a self-developmental book. Some tips guys? Thank you very much
