Do I switch directions or is it too soon???

Hello, I've been having this big mental delema about what direction to focus on.

After a lot of struggle I got a site going. It's showing a tiny bit of life. It's not making much but a little. Enough to have me believe that I could likely get it to a point where say in 6 to 12 months it would most likley easily be paying my bills and more.

However, the challenge is it's VERY LINEAR. I don't really see it having major growth potential. It's just me doing the work and it's pretty much as if I'm self employed. I don't see it growing exponentially is what I'm saying.

Meanwhile, I have another project that has taken a back burner. The other has a far more likely chance of going viral. The business model is designed to take it viral (that's if it works). I haven't fully got it all operational to test it.

So my delema is do I sacrifice my time on what's working that might at best make me a living, for the other project that likely has bigger growth potential???

I keep saying to myself "oh I'll do them both" but it's a lot harder in real life to do that. What should I concentrate on? What would you do if you were me?

    nothing wrong with creating your own job and making a living.. if the only way the other thing will grow is to go viral.. if you have the skills to make that hapen fine ..

    which skill do you have now ..the skills to build what is working now up to the level to pay your bills and support you..

    or do you have the skills support the system and the people with the know to help you go viral with the other idea .

    you might see more growth potential on the thing you are doing now as you build it up than you see right now

    You're not alone.. it's very easy to be spread out all over the place with so many opportunities, ways to create traffic, business models etc.. many, if not most of us here have dealt with this.

    So which of the two projects do you feel will bring you the most satisfaction if it's successful?

    Which project do you see yourself maintaining without becoming burned out in the long run?

    If cashflows not a problem why not outsource or get a VA to keep moving with project 1? Set up a budget, hire someone to maintain it.

    Pretty easy solution, go to Fiverr, and outsource the website one, and then concentrate on the big money one.

    You can hire someone for $5 there to do data entry, etc for a few hours, (that is time you can spend on the other one).

    I am more fortunate in that l am doing flyers, and that has the compounding element.

    I would just follow what feels most fun to you.

    Confusing as hell sometimes, but if you get to the core of things, moving your energy from what makes the most money or what may grow the most to what feels most fun Now is the easiest way to get an answer to your question. Because when you follow your fun you will never need to change directions and your doubts will largely disappear.
