13 Signs You're Close To A Breakthrough [Isaiah Hankel]

I came across a blog by Dr. Isaiah Hankel the other day and decided to share it with you here. I think it's appropriate topic matter for Mind Warriors because it's quite inspirational.

13 Signs You're Close To A Breakthrough

I especially love the rock analogy. I think all email/Internet marketers can relate to the frustration you feel when you've been trying, trying, trying to build your subscriber list and really get your online business up and running once and for all. Well, if you feel like you've been hammering away at things and can't see any true progress in what you're doing ... keep hammering. You're probably closer than you think, according to this blog post.

Here is a list form of Hankel's 13 signs you're close to a breakthrough:

1. When you're frustrated.
2. When you hear radio silence.
3. When resistance increases.
4. When they start laughing at you.
5. When you want to give up.
6. When you start rationalizing.
7. When you feel like changing your goals.
8. When you're told to be realistic.
9. When it really hurts.
10. When the numbers say you're wrong.
11. When people turn their backs on you.
12. When people try to help you.
13. When you're scared.

It doesn't sound like a very inspirational list at first sight, does it? But read the entire blog post: 13 Signs You're Close To A Breakthrough. It may just make you smile.

So true. That rung a bell in me.

I get outrageously bewitching experiences with the cosmic master's recordings.

That's because that stuff is ungrounding as all hell. Good luck losing your grip with reality.

Most of them ring a bell.

It is often the adversities that shape you and make you take risks that will change your life for ever. We humans are wired to not take risks and instead survive. When that very survival is questioned, we have no option but to embrace the risk.

    Thanks for the inspiring post.

Ironically this is also 13 signs you're close to a nervous breakdown.

I can say this right here "Been there, done that." When we feel like we're at a complete low is where a breakthrough is forthcoming. We just have to keep on keeping on! Because around that bend, around that corner, you might just have what you're looking for. Patience plus perseverance equals reward.

    You missed one!

    14. When THEY... are correct.

Your biggest breakthrough may be in realizing that the other guy is right.

Sometimes it pays to listen to the other party, instead of blindly continuing on.

Who knows, they may have more experience than you do. They may know things that you don't.

They may have better ideas about how to do something than you do.

What is the harm in considering what someone else might have to offer?

The arrogance of thinking that you have all the answers, can lead to unintended consequences for those you care for and who depend on you.

Let me try to add another one here to keep the ball rolling:

      15. When THEY are correct.... and YOU are also correct.
You are right Ron when you said that sometimes we have to consider the other guy's opinion. But the downside I see from it is that it will kinda weaken your decision-making skills and worst making you believe that your guts were wrong after all these years. The picture below says it all.

        Perhaps it's true.

Maybe you were wrong. Maybe not.

The point is, be willing to "step around the table" and look at it from the other guy's point of view.

The best decisions are made when we have all the key facts, not just some.

Abraham Lincoln would often consult with people who despised him. He valued their perspective, their insight, their opinion.

Sometimes he found it superior to his own thinking.

In any case, Lincoln felt the added perspective, though it differed greatly from his own, helped him shape and make better decisions.

An open mind can be a good thing.

When things are at the maximum of toughness is when you find a way out of no way, is when that one breakthrough idea comes into your mind.

We all going to go through hard times in our lives but those times are not permanent, the hard times will pass.
I went on and read the blog, is totally inspiring.

Lol, most of the time the other persons views on wealth, are wrong, but since they work hard, and will be doing so, til they reach almost 70, that is their only reality, and they will cling into that with 100% certainly.

That is also true for individuals with serious mental health issues, they will ignore all evidence, (that would convince most) and continue to believe in something that isn't the best solution.

To them 6 only exists, and 9 doesn't, eventhough it clearly does.

Best to avoid individuals like this, they cannot be reasoned with and only drain you of good sense. I guess stupid and feeling secure go hand in hand?

I can't disagree with the signs. It happens when you feel the most vulnerable , that's when you know you have something good coming, not when you feel comfortable. I for one hate being comfortable at times because I know I'm not learning.

    Good stuff.

For me, I have the most breakthroughs when I do what I do mainly for the love of it. So all the resistance and pain rarely wells up because when I am having fun, the work is the reward. I make more money this way too I do totally get 13. I'd add, when you are TERRIFIED and dive into the deep fear LOL.
