Which of these is your final decision?

This is just a really quick little survey.

Let's say I had two books. Both had really good cover designs and right away you seem interested in both. I offer you just one of them for free but you must choose right now. If you choose one the other will be gone and you will not see it ever again. Your one choice will be final. Here they are:

A) This book is about success and how to get more of it.
B) This book is about failure and how to avoid it.

Remember: You choice of the free book is final. No coming back later and asking to exchange it for the other - not ever!

Thanks for your choices. I appreciate all of you.

I would choose B, because I think I'd rather know what not to do.

      A) This book is about success and how to get more of it.

You must learn from mistakes by yourself. That's essential element to fail sometimes and get better, to get real experience.

    A) I agree with Lett. Its easy to learn from your mistakes and we all know the best way to learn is to fail and make mistakes. More constructive insight can be drawn from a book on success and the mindset to achieve it!

    Definitely A

Why spend your time worrying about what could happen with B when you could aim for the skies with A?

I would have to agree with Alex. My choice would be (A.) Why spend the time focusing on the negatives in (B.) when yo could go for the gold with (A.) Mistakes will happen naturally but with (A.) you will go into it with the end result of Success in mind instead of Failure.

It's interesting that, while failure sucks, it's recognized by all of you that it's essential for personal growth and learning.

On the other hand info about success is always more alluring. However another's success has little to do with our own unless we clone ourselves to be so much like them that we end up trying to live their lives instead of ours. That's not fun and probably impossible anyway.

The real secret to every success is to survive just long enough to get through all the pains of learning and loss that failure is bound to produce. Therefor the real goal is to overcome time itself. That, of course, is done with intelligent persistence and with a mindset that has enhanced immunity against failure.

Mobiusman talks about the Head Brain/Gut Brain system. Did you know you have two different brains?

I'll choose B.. More can be learned from failures.. Success also comes every after failure after applying the lessons learned from making mistakes.

I've read a book which was entitled "dare to fail." It was a good read and a very inspiring one.

    I would pick "B".

Although it could be the last chance to read "A", probability to find a book similar to "A" (on the overcrowded market) is bigger than to "B".
    Rare information always value more.

Definately A, its just impulse. B would seem derogarotory (can't spell) and will only discourage me and minimise my comfort zone limiting what I can achieve. If I need to know what to avoid, the only way to know is to make a mistake and then learn to avoid it.

For me it will be A as I feel learning abt failure and how to avoid it means we focus our mind on the words failure and avoiding. We are not thinking abt success.

With A, our mind focuses on success and how to get more of it. Positive.

Success and how to get more of it...I always liked the phrase "There's no failure, only feed-back"
