Helen Keller- The first warrior
Hellen Keller was born blind and deaf. Her parents did not know what to do and the situation seemed to get progressively worse until they found a truly innovative teacher who taught the young girl to 'feel' sign language from her hands.
Keller blossomed under the tutelage of this very patient, kind, and obviously creative, teacher. When Keller was denied a chance at admission to a college, she wrote to the admissions department that although she knew she was up against incredible odds,
"a true soldier does not admit defeat before the battle."
If you feel like giving up, regroup, re-organize, re-strategize, and execute with precision.
If a blind, deaf woman can do maintain this attitude against her own incredible odds, so can you.
Hope that gives some 'oomph' to those who need it right now.
