YOU are the deciding factor.

Yes, you determine your success.

The choice is yours, on how you want to react to each and every stimuli in your life. Are you going to allow setbacks, to well, set you back?

Remember, it's not the problem that got you under, it was your choice of how to react that determined the result. Ok, Ok there are exceptions, I know, but they are the exception, not the rule.

It's up to you whether you make $ 1-00, $ 100-00, $ 1 000-00 or $ 100 000-00 a month. If you are only aiming at $ 10-00 a day, guess what? Yes, you'll earn $ 10-00 a day.
Expand your thinking, concentrate on one way of making money, and do it untill you succeed. Then repeat again and again, and again. (Soon you'll have to have it done.)

How many more ebooks, videos, ecourses and webinars is it going to take, before you settle down and "Just do it", like Nike says? Maybe your motto should be: "Just did it!"

You have to see this as a BUSINESS. This is not a hobby, or something to pass the time with.
You have to know your customer, your product and how to bring those two together, in a mutually beneficial manner.

I have a saying that goes like this: "The first success is the most important one."
Once you tasted success, it is so much easier and quicker to replicate the steps that lead to your success, and to do it again.

The guy/gal doing a $ 1 000-00 a day, has the same amount of hours and days as you; he/she might work less hours than you and have less expenses than you, but he/she makes $ 1 000-00 a day!
They were once where you are now, but they tasted success, and built on that. That action that made you a profit, should be expanded upon, repeated and automated.
Most of these earners have their mundane tasks outsourced, while they look for more ways of making money.

I have a few points below, to clear your thoughts and to start having the "right" thoughts:

To start off with, think of yourself as a $ 1 000-00 a month person. Have images of cars/boats/houses or whatever you want, all around you. Buy nice clothing and perfume (one at a time), have your hair done. (Act as if you are going to a meeting every day.)
Set a goal: "I'll make my first $ 500-00 a day, by Feb 2010."
Determine a need in the market, find a product or produce your own, and fullfill that need.
You should see your customer as nr 1, and you want hundreds and thousands of happy customers, (in lists.)
You must build your brand name as actively as your products. Become a pro in your niche, soothe your customers' pains, and/or give them something pleasant.

Everything on the forum is to help you find something to sell, and somebody to sell it to. There are no get rich quick schemes here, because they don't work.
You have to sell something, to make money. period.

Now, are you going to take the red pill, or not?

What decision are you going to take now?

I agree with Adriaan somewhat. If you want to make a certain amount of money, stick to that goal. In order for something to happen, you have to do something. If you're on a budget, don't go splurging on material things. That will have you going broke. Whatever niche you are in, master it. Figure out your customers concerns and problems....then fix them.

      Hi

      Thanks Scartego, you're right.

You should spend your time, money and thoughts, on:
      1. If I don't have a product yet, get one.
      2. If I don't have the necessary graphics, have them made.
      3. If I don't have a mailing list, build one.
      4. If I don't have JV partners, get them.
      5. If I don't have affiliates, recruit them.
      6. If I'm not in social marketing, get in.
      7. If most of these tasks aren't outsourced, get it outsourced now.
      8. If I don't have a payment plan, get one.
      9. If this system is profitable, start with the next one.
Every morning, start at nr 1, and when it's finished, go to nr 2, and so on.

This is how the successfull and rich internet marketers started.

They don't waste their time looking for the next big thing in forums, and they don't buy every Get Rich Quick scheme they can get their hands on.

So, the time you would've spent in forums, looking for the next big thing, and buying every new scheme, you should spend your time and money as I indicated above.

To be honest, I thought it was going to be moved to the Mind Warriors section, but I'm SO glad it wasn't.

It can now reach more people, and the more people that realize that it's hard work, day after day, the better. Now, there will be more successes and less diasappointment.

I don't know ... all this "inspirational" type of posts seems more appropriate here:
Mind Warriors - Success, Power, Self-Improvement

The people who have failed, and there are a lot of them, frequently have set their sites initially on $1,000/day and upwards. I'm sure many bought the notion that they could get rich while sleeping.

Instead of spending my time with images of material possessions in my head, I spend my day creating sites, creating backlinks, promoting, etc.

    Now this:
"The first success is the most important one."
Once you tasted success, it is so much easier and quicker to replicate the steps that lead to your success, and to do it again.

I agree with wholeheartedly. It's action oriented and produces results.
