Why do posts mysteriously disappear?

I have had a number of posts that have vanished when I later came to see if there are any replies. Here I am talking about posts rather than starting a new thread.

Now if there was something wrong with my post, thats fine, but I see no infraction on message on my account to say I have done something wrong.

It is really frustrating, I have given quite a lot of useful advice that has just gone, and it makes me less inclined to post and just use PM.

      Ahm lets say that there are a lot of new threads coming everyday and forums would probably have put a limit on how many threads should appear :-) But if you get replies, for sure it will be updated :-)

    Happens all the time and I wouldn't waste any time trying to figure out the reasons. Asking why can get you banned for a few days.
