2010 Success Challenge - What Are You Doing to Make Sure 2010 Isn't a Repeat of 2009?

I made a post recently to encourage everyone to make a self-promise to change for the better in 2010- What 'for the better' means is an individual value and we can all move things up a notch higher in our business and life.

You can read Change Your Life in 2010 here

This post is to throw an open challenge to everyone that reads this post. The challenge is to nudge you on even as I nudge myself on to answer the one question:

What Are You Doing Now to Make Sure 2010 Isn't a Repeat of 2009?

i don't want anyone to get all 'brainy' on me here. If 2009 was good then congrats. If it wasn't as planned then this is for you.

My 2009 had it's ups and downs but overall it was a successful year on many fronts. 2010 is the year that I'm encouraging you to 'graduate' - To graduate from where you are now into that life you really want to live.

The only one that's holding you back is you

Yeah, I can already hear people saying,

"Bayo, if you knew what I have to deal with - the job, no job, debt, bills, my kids, my relationship etc you wouldn't say that!"

These all exist for you, for me and for hundreds of thousands of others out there just like us,but here's the thing. When you bring these up, what's happening is you're arguing against your own best interests.

Earl Nightingale said it brilliantly when he said:

"We tend to minimize what we can accomplish and for some equally strange reason, we believe others can reach heights which we cannot!
We tend to overlook the fact that there is enormous undeveloped potential within each of us--a great reserve of talent and ability
which we habitually fail to use."

I look at people like JK Rohwling and her success. I look at people in my own local area ni Chicago who, over the last year have achieved remarkable success in business and in their career. These are ordinary everyday folks that had their challenges as we entered into 2009.

I know and worked with one particular young entrepreneur who was set on becoming an event promoter. He took action. That's the first way in which he became different from most people. We worked together and he wrote the dream down. he then decided to figure out how he would make it happen.

He has responsibilities, bills, kids all that 'stuff'. He worked at it. That's the second way he became different than most people. He didn't buy the excuses. He was willing to pay the price.

In three months he was being contacted to promote events on a regular basis and we setup a company so he could do things legitimately and of course enjoy the tax breaks of owning a business.

He had no idea how he would get 'recognized' - On top of that, there are many event management companies in the district, competing for the same business, but that didn't stop him. And that's the third way he became different than most people. Most people, if they don't know how, they stop. That's why most people get nowhere.

What Can You Do To
Make 2010 Different Starting Now?

What have you backed away from? If he can do it, why not you?

You can do it!

By becoming a member of this forum.
I'm a complete newbie when it comes to internet marketing. I don't know anything about it, (how to make a website, how to create a product etc...) so I hope I will learn much on this forum. I want to start a business and make much money online , so I don't need to worry about paying bills and stuff like that.
Well, I think I'm not the only one in here that feels that way:p
So I have decided I want to start with internet marketing in 2010 :p

Btw, I have heard the war room is a great place to be in, a so-called goldmine you might say. So I have some questions to ask...

Since I'm a complete newbie, could I pay $37 and join the war room?
Would that be a good investment for a complete newbie like me?
Would you benefit from it if you don't have much money?
By this I mean, would I earn it back based on the information in the war room? I don't know much about that room, so I'm just asking.
Hope someone will answer my questions.

    Thanks
I'm a new member btw. Registered a few days ago :p

      Hey, Mr. B:

I hear what you are saying and agree 100%. If we desire change and
expect change we are going to personally have to do something to effect
      that change.

I am a big promoter of the value of ongoing personal development and I
appreciate the quote you included from the late, great Earl Nightingale.
Earl's motivational materials are responsible for originally putting me on
the road to greater personal achievement.

I can honestly say that I expect 2010 to be an absolutely awesome year
      for me!

    Hello Mr B

I read your Change 2010 post and have already begun planning. As you mentioned, I feel that 2009 has been a year of soul searching and of learning and to quote your words: I Know 2010 is going to be my graduating year from where I am now into the life I really want to live.

I'm all pumped and ready, only a day more to go

Thank you for the 2 thought-provoking and action-taking posts!
