What was your first day back at work like?

This is my first post on Mind Warrior. Today was my first day back at work and it was great. I got up an hour earlier than usual which has enabled me to achieve more than I usually would on a normal working day. This felt great. Had my first appointment at 9.30, which went well and the day progressed from there. Out on the road calling in on businesses and meeting people. Working for yourself can be very rewarding as you set your own goals and push yourself as hard as you want. Doing that one thing extra each day will help you achieve more goals. How was your first day back after the Festive break?

    It was wonderful. Got up late - as usual. Thanked God for a wonderful day and his many blessings. It was my son's B-day so I waited for him to come home from school. When he got home, we went out and I took him to the toy store where I proceeded to buy him yet another game for his Nintendo thingamajing. Got home. Ate steak & shrimp for dinner (my son's personal request). Sang happy birthday. Ate B-day cake. After everyone felt fat, dumb and happy - I sent the kids off to bed. Yes, working for yourself does have its privileges : )
