What musicians and songs inspire/motivate you?

I have not seen a inspiration music thread up so I thought I would get one started.

I love music and cannot live without it, I listen to music while I do a lot things around the house, when im travelling or to just to chill out.

My question is though, what music gets you pumped? OR what line in a song reinforces your belief "im gonna make a killing online today!!"

My favourite musician/rapper of all time is Shawn Carter otherwise known as Mr Jay-z.

A lot of people might have never listened to his music simply because you might have interpreted as its just a lot of noise. Or you cannot understand what he say's. But I ask if you take the time out to just listen to some of his greatest records your ears will be witness to one of the smartest lyrical persons to have ever lived.

To me the best part of his music is the metaphors he uses. A lot of which motivate me so I thought I would share.

"Treat my first like my last and my last like my first and my thirst is the same as when I came" - Treat every project like its the first you ever did with so much enthusiasm, treat it like its your last project because you will want to make it your best ever work, do this and your thirst for creating amazing IM content will never die out.

"Im not a business-man, Im a business, MAN let me handle my business damn."

"I....WILL....NOT....LOSE....EVER....F*CKA" - I sometimes listen to this song after people try to deflate my dreams or big goals.

"I'm so far ahead of my time,
I'm bout to start another life
Look behind you, I'm about to pass you twice
Back to the future and gotta slow up for the presen
t"

"the world don't like us, is that not clear, alright,
But I'm different, i can't base what I'm gonna be off a what everybody isn't, they don't listen, just whispering behind my back,
no vision, lack of ambition,
so wack
!" - Ever get people that simply don't get your ambition to make money online because the are conditioned to get a "normal job"? This is his response to people that never believed in him and he went on to live his dream. Never let anyone tell you it cant be done. Whats more inspirational than that?

"If ya'll can't already see i aint worried about ya'll cos i'm already me
Do you already, enough of the complaining bo-who's already
Eat food already, aint nothing given you gotta claim your shoes already
" - Stop blaming other people for you not being successful, get up and do something about it. Take Action.

Thats a handful but I don't want to bore you . I know what your thinking, its still a lot of noise.

Anyway, thats my music, what music or artist gets you inspired to achieve your goals?!

      Coldplay

Their songs just are calming but driving to me. If I get down and don't think I can make a living online, I put some Coldplay on and go to work.

Danny Elfman music scores are also a favorite. The Men In Black theme especially. Not sure why, but it keeps me going.

My musical tastes are quite varied from Soul/R n B to Soft Rock (8o's).

However, I am a convert and a real fan of Rascal Flatts.

Not only does their music touch your senses, you can hear every single word they sing, so clearly.

One of my two favourite tracks are "Take Me There" and "God Bless The Broken Road".

    Magical.

Gonna take you back to '93, oh and by the way that's 1893!

During his visit to America from 1892 - 1895 Antonin Dvorak was heavily influenced by both Native American music and African-American spirituals. The New World Symphony was first performed on December 16th 1893 at Carneigie Hall. The end of each movement was greeted with thunderous clapping and cheering.

Put this on when you want a bit of inspiration and just visualise the sights and sounds he was seeing and hearing for the first time. Judging by the music he was gobsmacked!

I'm going to listen to yours so do yourself a favour and listen to mine!
