When will you say its time?

Many articles you read today say that the two-year string of job losses is coming to an end. Really? The Government is saying there has been an increase in hiring, and that would be a first in two years, as much of us already know. The current unemployment rate is around 10% and that seems to be the norm these days, some experts suggest we may never be able to convert back to the time when the 7.2 Million jobs were actively buzzing right before 2008.
This recovery when it happens more than likely will be at a cost of more jobs, a lot like the 21 month period that followed the 2001 recession which we lost an additional 1.1 million jobs. What many people do not think about is the definition of recovery vs. recovered. Recovered is going to mean that those 7 million jobs that were lost are reinstated with the same caliber worker at the same wages. This is very unlikely to happen.
There has been conversation that it could take us 10 years to get back to the same status we were at in 2007. You read that right 10 years, but what is the chance we could have another recession in those 10 years? Do you want to or can you wait 10 years to get back to where you were at after fighting tooth and nail for possibly 20+ years?
Then there is the unemployment population that has actually given up on looking for jobs because "no one is hiring". As a society we do not count those individuals but once the employers start hiring again then they start counting again because they are "looking". What if we did count all the people that have given up on looking for work, could the unemployment rate be 15% or even higher, it is too scary to think about.
So what are people doing? They are looking at opportunities that they may have never looked into before, self employment or being an entrepreneur. Today there are special advantages of being self employed or an entrepreneur, it is called the internet and social networking. The internet has transformed us into a digital world that networks with people we never knew before, we stream media and data like never before. You are able to find anything and everything you could possibly want on the internet, it is the future for everyone. People are comparing the traditional idea of owning your own business to what it means today, the costs alone are significantly lower by hundreds of thousands of dollars. Try to open a fast food or ice cream store, you are looking at 100k just to start, who has that type of money lying around, if everyone did we wouldn't be in this mess we are in. Look at all your major retailers and businesses, where are they migrating to? You are right, the internet. They are going to the internet due to this thing called ROI or Return on Investment, they can reach millions and millions of people in one email. You may wonder where do they get all these emails, it is quite simple, next time you are in a restaurant or business, listen to the clerk ask for your email as they try to offer you a "special" for signing up, or the comment cards that offer you a 5.00 discount if you sign up. Now every time that company has a "sale" they can save millions of dollars on "flyers" or "direct mailers" and just hit a key and there you have an email.
As you can see every day when you log into your web pages the marketing is phenomenal, everyone knows this is the way for future businesses to be successful. Companies know that their success can only come from marketing online, so I ask you, is your future there also? Are you ready to wait 10 years for your "job" back? Become a leader and take control of your life and learn how to market anything online, I have and it feels great.

It is highly frowned on to paste your articles into a post like this. This is not an article directory but a discussion board.

And when you do come up with a real post, it's much easier to read when you separate paragraphs with a space. The large block of text is hard on the eyes on a computer screen.
