Enjoying My Internet Marketing Experience Thus Far - Are You??

Hi guy, Kerron Ali here from Trinidad and Tobago in the Caribbean. I've been involved in internet marketing for just over a year, an I'm now only really beginning to enjoy sort of a comfortable living from my online marketing career. So much so that I am considering leaving my full time job and getting involved in this full time.

It has not been an easy road by any means. I went through alot of trial and error, testing different money making systems until I found one that benefited me the most. There were many times I felt like giving up, but i still kept at it, especially when i went my 1st 3 months without a sale, which would be enough to deter anyone away from internet marketing, but i'm sure happy I stuck it though.

I know that there are many people who get involved in internet marketing, but only a small percent go on to truly enjoy the rewards of an online business.

No I am by no means calling myself a "guru" or expert in any internet marketing field (I haven't made that much money to call myself that...yet ) But I am gladly willing to share what I have learned on my journey thus far with others who may not yet have achieved the success they had hoped for or for those who get discouraged easily.

While the idea of getting into and online business is undoubtly to make money an achieve that lifestyle you dream about. I believe it makes the journey worthwhile when you are able to assist your fellow marketers in their efforts of acheiving success.

I know I can make a difference in my life as well as others!

Feel free to PM me or email me at kerron@seprofits.com

Nice post - yes positive thinking is the key to this and I hope you've read "The Answer". I've tried many things - I had one hit with my own shareware and now I am writing on hubpages. Hee hee - hubpages seems to be full of negative people who don't believe in themselves. This morning I was reading a hub by a girl who didn't think her life would amount to much, and she was only 23!

I hope I become one of the winners who makes $500-$1000 a month on there. My hub rating is already 86 so 22 hubs in I must already be close to discovering the secret of hubpages success.

Thanks Kerron for your motivating story. I was about in the same boat like you before a year. But Now I believe that the real key to success in IM world is persistence and complete dedication with your full focus on one project at a time.

Now many people lack this ability and leave this business in between when they are very close to success. This is I think the real tragedy of Internet Marketing world. Most people do not understand how close they are to the Real SUCCESS and leave after few setbacks.

If you really want to be successful then consider every setback is just another result of an experiment you have performed to improve your journey to the victory.

I love a good challenge. Personally I am the type that need to see (physical see) how things work in order for me to understand them. I have been so lucky to find just that type of mentor

Making that first sale, receiving that first cheque... what a trip...

    Yes, I am enjoying it.

Internet marketing is in many ways unlike any other career option. In my experience (especially watching my colleagues) I found out that it's much more difficult to get to the point where you earn a decent monthly income than in most of the other professions.

However, once you do get to that point (a steady passive income that you can live with, and an active income that you can spend on stuff that makes you happy), it's probably the best profession out there.

I was lucky enough to get a lot of software development experience in college, and to be able to start my own company right after college - and I must say I've loved every second of my "Internet Marketing Experience", as OP called it.

The freedom this line of work enables, being able to work from anywhere on the planet (with internet connection, of course), travelling all the time, ... it's so amazing that the right approach to internet marketing enables a lifestyle like that and a more-than-decent income.

From what I've seen, I'm a bit sad that probably only about 10% of the people who try to make it in this business, actually make it. But I also believe that as long as you have your long-term goals in mind, and you don't lose your faith when you get to the first hurdle on your path, you should do just fine.

... and with time, it only gets better. So, enjoy this incredible opportunity the internet has given us - and enjoy your life as much as you possibly can.

    • I am enjoying the experience. When I started, I never knew it would be such a huge learning curve. Online Marketing is an art. I mean, just like a basketball player has to learn and practice like crazy to make it to the NBA - just like a college student has to study and sacrifice to become a great doctor - you have to take it serious if you really want to be successful. You really need to treat this like a real job - especially when starting out.
