Procrastination!? Ahhhh....

Hey guys, this is what I told myself when I woke up this morning for motivation and I thought it might help a few people out. So I decided to post it on Warrior while it's still fresh

"I'll take out the trash in a few minutes" is just as bad as "I'll take out the trash tmrw". Get to Work! It won't do itself you know...

Dig it or Leave it and have a great day everyone : p

I've given up on getting up early. I don't have to be to my day job until 11 and I seem to do my best work at night anyway....I just stay up late. But procrastination is still a problem. The only things that help me is going over my long term and short term goals, making a to do list and getting myself really pumped up and going hard for as long as possible. Even then about halfway through the day I lose focus and have to try to refocus myself for the rest of the day. Also facebook is the devil.

I had such a lame day yesterday : /. Spent half the day battling to simply do my work...I got it taken care of though.

And dude, I did that for a year...trust me it doesn't work. I'll get up early tomorrow and I'll start my schedule will never get you anywhere. Just do it. No joke, the simplest things escape us sometimes....that's what makes it so difficult. When your alarm goes off just say, "fk it" it's time to get up....I'll never wake up early if I don't get up now.

Time's a weird thing to understand but once you grasp it...things take off.
Here's the basics though: You're never in the past or in the future. You can only live in the present...that's why visualization combined with The Law of Attraction(living in the moment and trusting "outside" forces to guide you along) is so important. We can only live in the moment so why not live in the moment?

    There's no reason not too.

Hope this helped at least a bit dude and it looks like I'll be seeing you around the success forum too.

swilliams....line up your work with your values . Sounds way too simple but that's your problem. You don't need to get all pumped up everyday when this happens but I still have to do the same thing sometimes too! Yesterday was like WWI in my mind.

The strange thing is that you can wake up easy when you know that you have a boss who will blame you for being late. When you're a boss for yourself it gets hard. I solved this problem having moved my schedule for 2 hours later. In this way I sleep enough and make my business as much as I need. I just finish to work a bit later then other people.

I am forced to get out of bed early everyday haha fir work. When I get home is the problem to stay on task with my business because my mind wants to relax or enjoy something instead of getting back to it. Everything is right there in front of me to either work or have fun and I always tend to chose to have fun

Think of your monthly nut as your boss. Believe me the pinch may be silent, but it will hit just as hard. Also, think about 20 years from now where you will be if you don't make a move now. Food for thought. Execution is the key to all success....game plans are many, but they don't win games. Players do.

    Best,

Procrastination is a gentle and insidious killer of dreams. It reflects indolence and a superficial appreciation of how life-changing working on our dreams could be.Did you say work!I will get to it later.
