Warrior Thought Of The Week

Been doing more affermations and meditating lately, and thought it would be a great idea to contribute a thought every monday.

Nothing but empowering thoughts here please. Ones you can sink your subconscious into, and make positive changes. Both financially, and personally.

Use these however you like.

Week #1- Warrior Thought Of The Week:

Everything I write makes me wealthy, and helps other people. I manifest abundance"

Here's a question for everyone to ask themselves every night before they go to bed,

Did I manifest my reality today?

And every morning before you get out of the house make sure to manifest your reality for the day!!

      Not entirely the best idea..

Manifestation of one's reality may take years, a lifetime.. A better approach would be to ask oneself if their day positively contributed towards their goal in the manifestation of their reality.

      Thanks Ron.

I've got a few notebooks filled with them, and decided to share them instead of keeping them all to myself.

      DevinT

The first part helps you do the second part better. I took the quote from Zig Ziglar:

" You can have anything you want in life, if you just help other people get what they want"

..and put in in my own words. I think the real power is actually living these quotes, not just saying them to yourself in your mind.

Some may dissagree with "universal mind". That's ok. Just replace it with what YOU consider your higher self or higher power. Could be God, Universe, or your pet cat. Doesn't matter. What does matter is that you FEEL it when you say it.

      Namaste,

I guess for me, I'm not really comfortable writing down affirmations, but I have been thinking alot lately, telling myself in my head that I am committed to helping people. And I realized something today. When you are focused and committed to something, instead of just wanting it really really badly, the challenges that pop up along the way mean nothing anymore. Not that you just bulldoze over them but, for me, they haven't affected my psyche nearly as much since I started thinking terms of commitment. What do you guys think?

By far the best and and most relevant Warrior Thought posted. It is crucial to stay calm amidst crisis, because one needs clear thoughts in order to overcome these challenges facing them. This is something I've had to remember in the last few weeks when all of the economic woes had been putting much strain on my personal life.

Thanks for that. Right back at 'cha

I've been digging a little about the right words to use. Not sure that using words like "fear" for the affirmations are the best choice, even though the statement that it's used with is indeed positive.

It's kind of like saying "I never struggle with descisions in my life"

Even though that statement is a positive move in the right direction, the subconscious imprint is "struggle".

I'm going to find the opposites of those words so the focus is directed to a more positive imprint on the subconscious from now on.

So, I'll turn that statement around and it becomes:

"I am making decisions easier than ever before"

One cannot let hear inhibit them, but to fight back and overcome it. Once one has done this, there isn't much that can get in their way.

      Hi

The key (for me) for making affirmations 'work' is to ask myself whether the words I am saying actually MOVE MY FEELINGS.

If affirmations worked just because you said them then they would work for everyone yet they don't. However, if they make you FEEL better by saying them - then you KNOW that they are (in a Law of Attraction sense) moving you TOWARDS what you are saying.

      To Our Success!

Bingo. You want to give the subconscious mind something that's powerful to YOU. Play with the affirmations in this thread, and reword them in your own language and work with them until what you've come up with really makes you feel great.

In other words, rewrite them how you would say them. Then internalize them with repetition.

Why is it that I got rejected 2 days ago from the woman I'd been dating for a few months, and since then everything I see is about perseverance through this stuff? I'm not complaining, though. It sucks to always have it brought to my attention, but helps me to realize that I can/will get through it. Thanks for the thought of the week. As goofy as it is, I'll see if it works! ha

All that stuff is in your head. You could look at it as a girl who became disinterested in you because of something YOU did, or you can see the departure as the universe making time for a connection that's much better than your last.

I know you were lightheartedly joking, but your subconcious can't see the difference. Until you change the language you use to describe those things, your habitual thoughts and the actions they create will remain the same.

Find the balance- somewhere between the extreme (so indifferent that girls will think they don't have a chance with you) and too little (which will make you seem too needy).

The affirmations direct your subconscious into moving your body in the right direction, and bring about the changes you want.

I respect all the ones that are posted here but in my opinion they are a little "OUT THERE" in terms of actual physical results.

There are two things that I do on a regular basis.
    1. Everyday when I wake up, I read this question that's posted on a white board in front of my bed: "Do I want to live a lame life?"

    2. Before I goto bed i ask myself. "Have I taken the necessary actions today which has/will bring in MONEY"

this second one is uber powerfull. If you busted your ass writing articles, promoting your site and trying to make Jv's all day long... have a restful sleep.

If how ever the answer to that question is a no... there is work to be done. You cannot sleep just yet.

Put it to use... you will only see great results.

    To our success...

For any Christians who might think that affirmations seem a little hokey, consider this series of affirmations:
"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want."
Because the Lord is my guide, leader, and provider for all matters physical, spiritual, and otherwise, I will not be lacking in any area of need.
"He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:
he leadeth me beside the still waters."

He will in fact, lead me to places where I can be sustained and find rest
"He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the
paths of righteousness for his name's sake."

He will bring healing to my innermost heart, He will lead me from there on paths that are right and good in His ever-capable eyes, He will do this for the sake of His own character, because that is who He is consistently.
"Yea, though I walk through the valley of the
shadow of death; I will fear no evil: for thou
art with me; thy rod and thy staff they
      comfort me."

Even in the darkest of paths, when the most prominent of evil exists in my life, my fears are calmed because of the very capable presence of the One who is there with me, disciplining me when I leave for a path that is bad for me and Him, guiding me while His staff rests upon my in an assuring way.
"Thou preparest a table before me in the
presence of mine enemies: thou anointest
my head with oil; my cup runneth over."

Even when enemies approach, and in fact surround, I am still cared for in the sense of all the sustenance I need, and more, for He liberally cares, so much so that He is more than I need.
"Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all
the days of my life; and I will dwell in the
house of the Lord for ever."

I am so confident in the character of my Lord that His grace and mercy will pursue me for as long as I am alive, and He will in fact secure His presence with me forever
      Psalm 23

    metalslug,

The physical result is not the working dynamic. The working dynamic are the thoughts. The physical results are simply the bi-product of the MENTAL/EMOTIONAL energy those thoughts create.

    Does this make sense?

The only thing that is consistent throughout this whole process is the energy. Just like Yin/Yang, it's in constant motion.

    Question to you:

Would you rather focus on, and deliver a strong, fast, accurate overhead knife-edge? Or..
    A LAME overhead knife-edge?

    Grant
PS. For the non-Karate folk: A knife-edge in Karate is sometimes called a Karate chop.

    Hi there,

I'm quite new here and just ran across this thread. I've been re-reading through David Hawkins material and found a nice quote I think may fit in well here.

"Life supports that which supports life" - David Hawkins: Power vs Force

The implications run through pretty much every area of life including success. Take some time to contemplate it and see where it's at work(or not) in your own life. Quite profound.

For the last few days, I've gotten deep into a book that I just can't get enough of. Always with feelings like this, I make highlights, and then write down notes, word for word, and include my thoughts afterward.

This is really good stuff to add to this thread, for many reasons. Personal & Spiritual Growth, and to understand what, exactly, true affirmations are, and what they can manifest for you.

So, I've taken a small segment out of the book I've mentioned, "Conversations With God", to share with you (pages 178 & 179). At the end of this post in quotes, I've jumped ahead in the book on page 180 to include a few paragraphs to help sum things up for better understanding.

I know the following words will inspire you in one way or another! Enjoy, and lets keep this thread going.

Word for word from the book..

Then why don't I have more success?

I said, your words are its [universe] command. Now your words were "I want success.". And the universe says, "Okay, you do".

I'm still not sure I follow.

Think of it this way. The word "I" is the key that starts the engine of creation. The words "I am" are extremely powerful. They are statements to the universe. Commands.

Now, whatever follows the word "I" (which calls forth the Great I Am) tends to manifest in physical reality.

Therefore "I" + "want success" produces you wanting success. "I" + "want money" must produce you wanting money. it can produce no other thing, because thoughts, words are creative. Actions are, too. And if you act in a way which says that you want success and money, then your thoughts, words, and actions are in accord, and you are sure to have the experience of this wantingness. You see?

Yes! My God- Does it really work that way?

Of course! You are a very powerful creator. now granted, if you had a thought, or made a statement, just once- as in anger, for instance, or frustration, it's not very likely that you'll convert those thoughts or words into reality. So you don't have to worry about "Drop dead!" or "Go to hell," or all the other less-than-nice things you sometimes think or say.

    Thank God.

You're welcome. But, if you repeat a thought, or say a word, over and over again- not once, not twice, but dozens, hundreds, thousands of times- do you have any idea of the creative power of that?

A thought or a word expressed and express and expressed becomes just that- expressed. That is, pushed out. it becomes outwardly realized, it becomes your physical reality.

    Good grief.

That's exactly what it produces very often- good grief. You love the grief, you love the drama. That is, until you don't anymore. There comes a certain point in your evolution when you cease to love the drama, cease to love the "story" as you've been living it. That's when you decide- actively choose- to change it. Only most don't know how. You now do. To change your reality, simply stop thinking like that.

In this case, instead of thinking "I want success," think "I have success."

That feels like a lie to me. I'd be kidding myself if I said that. My mind would shout, "The hell you say!"

Then think of a thought you can accept. "My success is coming to me now," or "all things lead to my success."

(and the quote from page 180)

"Affirmations do not work if they are merely statements of what you want to be true. Affirmations work only when they are statements of something you already know to be true.

The best so-called affirmation is a statement of gratitude and appreciation. "Thank you, God, for bringing me success in my life." Now that idea, thought, spoken, and acted upon, produces wonderful results- when it comes from true knowing; not from an attempt to produce results, but from an awareness that results have already been produced."

    Namaste,

    Grant

One of my favorite thoughts is by Charles Spurgeon:

Anxiety does not empty tomorrow of its sorrows, but only empties today of its strength.

Reminds me of a saying that mom always said:

Worry today is like interest paid on a debt that may never come due.

I know I have been given the freedom, desire, and passion to think of many possibilities.. unlimited opportunities of greatness. I know the more I think of these thoughts, they will empower me, and my reality in a positive way.

Soon they will help others see just how magnificent they are as human beings.

I know that I also have been given the gift of free will, love, and passion- the power to allow myself to be who I want, achieve what I want, and I make a stand today, right now, that I will let NOTHING, and NO-ONE come between me and my dreams.
