Everyone Has A Dream...What's Yours?

Hey everyone.

It's a beautiful day in Nashville..other then this cold weather.

A big part of making it in life is establishing your goals. You have to know exactly what your goals are to know what you're working for. Every detail should be examined in your head each day. This drives you to work hard for your goals and eventually you will reach them.

Everyone one of us has that 1 BIG goal that we imagined at the start. The one that when achieved, you think to yourself..."I made it". When this goal is reached you know all the hard work has paid off.

I want this post to be what everyone's goals are to help all you struggling business men and women remember what all this work is for. If you have already made it big, then show us what your goal was when you first started.

I know that each of us have many many goals even if you reached the biggest goals in your life, but what's that 1 big goal you have to drive you to success.

It helps the drive if you have a visualization. So, if you have a picture or can find one post it. Here's mine:

Ever since I first decided I want to become a successful entrepreneur when I was about 20, I had one goal in mind. When I am able to buy this Aston Martin with no worries, I have achieved a lifetime goal...my big dream. And, let me tell you, there is going to be a party when I do.

I want to see your goals. Show me. If you can't show me or tell me your dream from all of this, then you better figure that out first.

Travis

Material things are only temporary. My dream in life is to live long, be happy with my family and cherish every moment I have with them. Making money online is just a way for me to support our daily needs.

I remember something like this in that DVD I watched called The Secret. People would pin up pictures of all the things they wanted in life and eventually, they succeeded. Although I'm sure not everybody does but still, it's good to dream. Keeps the fire burning!
I personally don't need anything. Material things are last on my list. A steady income is fine. If I can keep an income coming weekly that allows me to be my own boss and not worry too much about money, I'm content.
I would need an astronomical income to afford the things you desire, petalta. LOL! You're obviously doing much better than me. Reveal your secrets, I demand it!!! :p

Lol, I haven't achieved them yet. When I do I will email you my secrets .

Like Raygun said, knowing your dreams is only the first step. Just because you know what you want doesn't mean you are going to get it. You have to go get it.

When you know what you want in detail, you will know more about what steps need to be taken to get there.

For my aston martin, I'm going to need about $300k (car + insurance). Before I spend that much on a car, I'm going to need at least 5 million sitting in the bank.

Yes, I know my dreams are really big. But, someone has to be there and I don't see why it can't be me.

My dream is to have a few million dollars at my disposal.

I would love to able to buy my dream home outright, have a few nice cars to drive and be able to travel with my family.

I have never been anywhere and I would love to see the world before I die. Heck, I've never even seen the ocean.

But I wouldn't just spend my millions on things for me...I have a killer idea for a business that I would love to start. This business would help millions of people.

I dream all the time. But I am having a little trouble turning those dreams into reality.

Don't know where you are in the USA, but put a trip to the beach at the top of your list! No one should never have seen the ocean.

And, then put a picture on your wall, desk, or whatever, to inspire you to succeed. Start with baby steps, and then keep building on those steps. You CAN do this!

Well crap I typed out this reply and it goes to database error AGGHH

Let's try again :p I said that Aston Martin has always been my dream car since I learned about them. I said one day I'll either get a pink or black one. Watched some auction on tv years ago where some old Aston Martins were being auctioned for millions

But that would have to come after the beach house, the house is more important.

Of course nothing you have matters if you don't have love. I too want a happy life surrounded by those I love and that love me. Being loved is what makes life worthwhile. If you're surrounded by people that love you, you've got a pretty good life

Paul if you haven't been to Rome yet, you need to hop on that ASAP. I spent a month in Rome years ago when I backpacked Europe. It's one of my favorite cities I've been to in the world. Honestly 1 month wasn't long enough to see everything that needed to be seen. It's full of beauty and if you are at all into art, you're in for a treat.

Oh Paul - you don't look young enough to have a son.

But Rome is great place - awesome architecture, coffee and ice cream but the Italian pizzas really are poo . The drivers are not much better either LOL

Been there a few times - a few years ago me and some friends drove from the UK to within 20 miles of Rome. I lost confidence because of the bad drivers. though

We came back to the UK via Venice and Austria amd that was gorgeos scenery very similar to where I live but MUCH bigger mountains than we have

My ultimate dream? Making enough so my husband can stay home with me and the kids and we can start living our dream: owning a farm and living a self-sufficient lifestyle as much as possible.

To get there I need to make enough money to pay off our mortgage for the house now, save up a nice nest egg plus a decent down payment for the farm, and still have enough left over to live comfortably.

    Maybe one day

Dreaming and Thinking BIG is one of the major keys to success. You have to be able to see what you want before you know where to go. As I have stated many times though, the visualization is only the first step. Massive amounts of action will get you there.

I have goals, and I have dreams. I'm thinking more about the first stepping stones first. but I'd like to end up with own family and not have to worry about money problems. Being rich with a life full of luxuries is definitely a dream most of us have, but really I like to think more about the stepping stones before that, such as making a -comfortable- income first.

First and for most my dream is to have peace of mind, a healthy, loving marriage and financial independence...

I don't need "things" so much as I want to be able to live in a nice home, comfortably without any financial fears. I want to be my own boss and love what I'm doing (I already do).

It's attainable, I'm very spiritual and married a spiritual and loving man, we're both hardworking and have dreams of financial success and being our own boss and we're working together to achieve this.

If there were an item I wished for, I guess a beautiful luxurious RV so we could travel across the country with our pets and visit family and friends or simply escape.

That sounds like a great experience especially at such a young age... I'd love to take one or two years off just to do that, get to know people from all over, make friends and off to the next adventure.

My long-term dream is to earn quite a lot of money, so that I would not have to take up a 9 to 5 job and work as I please. Haha, this really made me smile. How big would that campfire have to be?

My dream is to be an award-winning actor and comic, appearing in movies with the likes of Ricky Gervais, Russell Brand and Robert DeNiro.

On a wider level, I dream of being able to provide a wonderful life for my family where they can explore the world and expand their minds in equal measure, as I do the same.

If I can help others do that too, then I'll consider my life well-lived. I have a huge fear of getting to the end of my life and wondering 'What would have happened if.....?'. That's what makes me take so much action.

OK, I'm getting off my soapbox now...

Paying for my other children to come to the Philippines to visit us.

Nice discussion. I'd love to share a short article I wrote about dreams - and
a variation of which was published by Martin Avis in his nice little ebook,
    "One Tip" recently.

    = = =

"Dreamers see the world, not the way it is, but the way it should be!"

Everything around you started as a thought in someone's mind. Every structure. Every accomplishment. Even every being.

It began as a nebulous, formless vibration. A yearning for something that isn't - yet. A longing for what should be. A craving for what might.

    A dream.

In time, it took form and shape. Got tangible. Became real.

But, only a few dreams come true. Those are the dreams we believed in - with all our heart.

Dreams we treasured and replayed over and over in our minds. Dreams we preserved against the ups and downs of fate. Dreams we nurtured safely in our hearts until the time was right.

    So... Dream Consciously

No, not how you dream in your sleep. Those you forget when you wake up. They have little impact, if any, on reality.

'Conscious dreams' are those you have intentionally - even when you're awake!

They are fuelled by hope and ambition, desire and want, purpose and passion. They are dreams you keep alive even when that little voice at the back of your head keeps saying you're foolish to.

Your conscious dreams are what drive you to keep going - every day of your life.

And they are dreams that come true. But only when you believe in them. Infuse them with a special energy.

It can be hard to believe in dreams. They often seem impossible, unattainable, unreal. Yet believe you must, for the trite phrase is so true: "Whether you think you can, or think you cannot, you are right!"

Can all your dreams come true?

Yes... if you believe in them strongly enough. A worthy dream is worth spending a lifetime pursuing. A positive dream energizes everyone to support and sustain it. A purposeful dream taps into the collective consciousness of humanity.

    So dream. Believe. And succeed.

    = = = = = = = = =

    All success
    Dr.Mani

P.S. - My dream is coming true. As an Internet infopreneur, I create and sell information products to raise funds for treatment for sick children. 63 heart operations have been sponsored until today, with many more to follow.

      That's awesome,
When I was at school I wanted to become a games programmer, I was going to go to University to do a 4 year course in games programming. I'm currently doing my first year at college and I have another to go(I just turned 17). However I'm thinking of not going to University now and to just spend my time working on something I enjoy and love doing, IM.

My dream: To make a good income from IM so that I can live off of it. If I managed to get a great income I would take my Mum, Dad and Brother around the world and donate a good amount of it to charity

    Everyone Has A Dream...What's Yours?

Before you get to hear my exciting dream, you need to know I am inspired by *Brian Tracy*, *Richard Branson*, The late great *Bill Veeck*, and The late great *Walter Payton.*

    I am going to:
    1. Aim Very High way beyond my current abilities (Part #1 is inspired by Brian Tracy and was completed years ago)
    2. Create a plan which turns the CEO's (and many affiliates) of my most successful subsidiaries into extremely wealthy people (Part #2 is inspired by Richard Branson and helps me wake up excited to start each new day)
    3. Aim to create ~34 networks of amazing web projects, with a minimum of 34 happy, wealthy leaders who know what it means to enjoy every day. (My fondness for the #34 is a tribute to The late great Walter Payton)
    4. Then, keeping in mind there are important things in life which money cannot buy, I will enjoy giving away huge amounts of money in a series of contests and fun promotions unlike anything the Internet has ever seen before. (#4 is inspired by The late great Bill Veeck, and I truly expect to enjoy helping other people to discover how much fun life can be)

I want to make enough money online to move to a warm climate where snow is unheard of and to be able to make enough money to support myself and my family when there.
