Simple Fast Start Guide For Newbies Struggling With Info Overload ...

This is a very basic guide and my goal is to keep it as simple as possible without going into Internet marketing terms and aspects one should learn over time that would make no sense to anyone just staring out. If you are already making money online, save your valuable time because there is NO reason to read this...

When I first started out online with the desire to make money it was a struggle to find direction for many months and to make a single red cent. I was going in circles to say the least... I hope this can save you some time and to help you avoid info overload.

The first thing you want to do is to look at yourself first. You need to evaluate your own passions and strengths. While you can make money, it's wise to realize there is effort involved.

The second thing to do is to get a Paypal account so that you can accept payments. I know this is a no-brainer but I did not get a PayPal account for many months which became a BIG barrier to getting cash from any type of service or writing that I was thinking of providing. A fellow Warrior member finally convinced me to set up PayPal with the old 'buy me a beer' button that used to be used here within the Warrior Forum.

Then ask yourself... What do you bring to the table? Evaluate who you are and look at your strengths. In order to make money you need to either offer goods or a service. What can you offer? Are you good at writing? Do you like snow boarding? Do you have a bunch of tips available for anyone starting out in something you have mastered? Have an unusual hobby? What is it that you can do well? What are your passions? What gets you really excited?

By looking at your strengths, talents and aptitudes you will be able to focus on what you do well. What your passions are.

I would suggest you check out a site like Associated Content. They will pay cash into your Paypal account for submitting articles, videos, audios and slide shows. Do you have anything that you have already written for your own profession or hobby? This may be content you can submit immediately for fast cash.

Maybe it was a report or opinion piece. Associated Content is regularly requesting submissions for specific kinds of content. For example political opinions or reports. Reviews on certain restaurants or places in your area.

Then you'll get paid by their specific payment method. If you're a decent writer, and you learn to write quickly, you can make great money this way.

Associated Content pays an average of about $3.50 to $5 each for good quality articles. They pay more for exclusive articles that you don't sell or use anywhere else, and less if you want to sell the same article somewhere else. Once you get good at writing quality content quickly, you can produce a minimum of two articles per hour, thus earning $7 to $10 per hour.

You're not going to get rich this way but it gets you into creating content and the mind set of making money online which is vital because if you struggle too long without making any money at all you might give up.

It's a good idea to go the non-exclusive route at AC. I've realized that they pay very little more for exclusive than non-exclusive and when you sell an article to them on a non-exclusive basis, you can sell it again at other places and or use your content for other aspects to make money.

There are other sites that pay for content like Constant Content and Day Tipper that you can do a simple Google search for details on what they are looking for...

Try to keep in mind that you are going back to school. Internet Marketing school. Every experience you have, all that you learn will take you closer to your goal of making money. There are no failures only results...

Pick a niche that you are passionate about. It should be specific and not to general but not to specialized that no one is interested in it.

It's wise to hang out in forums like the Warrior Forum. But also visit Forums in your niche. Listen, read, learn. Common questions or issues and problems that come up within the niche? You may discover a need or you may know a solution to an issue or problem.

Do not discount your own abilities and talents. That is what you are bringing to the table already and you can immediately capitalize on your own talents to make money quickly.

The important idea is that you start in one area and concentrate on that, first. Creating content is always in demand. If you can create quality specialized content you can make money quickly with your writing.

Create some content in your area of expertise. If you have several articles or reports you can offer to sell them, or turn them into Private Label content. Internet marketers are always on the look out for unique valuable content.

From my point of view this is one of the
fastest ways to avoid info overload and to start making money online. Have passion, then take action. Don't be discouraged. Don't give up. Remember there are no failures, only results to show you what works and what does not work for you.

There are plenty of posts here on the Warrior Forum that are pure gold from members that have been through all the ups and downs that can and will help you if YOU find YOUR passion and take ACTION...

To YOUR Success,
Dean Shainin

    Hi Dean,

Thanks for posting this. One question though, why would people have hesitancy in getting a PayPal account? It is free and probably the best way to get paid online. Thanks again, I saved and archived this post for future reference.

      Thank You,

I can only speak for myself in regards to my hesitancy in getting a PayPal account. I thought it was something that would be complicated and a real hassle because of my own mind set at the time about banks, etc. I did not realize it was such a simple painless process to be able to receive and send money online...

      Cheers,
      Dean

Geographical location could also be another factor in getting a Paypal account set up. Just 3-4 years back, Paypal was pretty alien for those living in Malaysia. In fact, they only launched the facility to credit funds into a local bank account very recently.

On information overload, I like one suggestion by Eben Pagan in one of his training videos. He quotes someone else (I forgot who) in saying something along the lines of "1 Year, 1 Guru". Basically it is just picking ONE established guru and following through with ONE particular course/method for a period of ONE year. That way, you don't get confused with all sorts of methodology and you get to focus your efforts on a particular set of actions.

This post should be an inspiration to struggling newbies. I like the way you worded it that people are going back to school. I have a lot of neophytes on my mailing list, and one common thread among those who struggle the most is that they don't want to learn, they want the easy answers that don't require them to think. It's a constant struggle to impress upon a minority of them that investing in their own mind is the best investment they can make, and the second best thing they can do is take action and then be willing to learn from that.

Selling people a turn key solution is big business.

Send me a check and you are on your way.

PotPieGirl has a saying I like "do for 1 year what no one else wants to do and spend the rest of your life doing what no one else gets to do" or something like that.

    Yes, it's work.

I STRONGLY SECOND the idea of FOCUS on 1 method. Do NOT sign up for all kinds of guru lists.

    Regards,
    PCRoger.
