Would you mind being my pesonal accountants?

Hi there, fellow warriors!

After some time "in the shadow" I would like to introduce myself: my name is Raul, 27yo, I live in Spain, and I am pretty new to Internet Marketing. I am a computer engineer, so I think my technical knowledge might be helpful in this world.

Here is the dream (from now on, 'the goal'). I want to get married next year, and instead of a honeymoon, we want to have a 'honey year', travelling around the world with no time or money constraints (the marriage is not the top point here, but we plan to visit countries where women can only be accompanied by family members). And here is where Internet Marketing comes into scene.

I have been studying several IM courses, tools, etc., and made my business plan, which basically consists on selling one or more products worth 20$ per day per month. That is, 20$/day 1st month, 40$/day 2nd, and so on. Then plan starts this month, and ends on may 1st 2011 (wedding is some time around june). That means $8400/month by that date (let's make $8000 for rounding purposes).

I plan to use both SEO + PPC to get traffic. My big disadvantage is that English is not my first language, but I plan to outsource my writing as soon as I can find a replicable and profitable process.

Sometimes, even when the desire is pretty big, I find myself not following the plan, procrastinating and not doing my tasks; that is why I thought I would make my progress open to the public for you: I will be updating this post at the end of every month, with income - expenses = benefit. Thay way I will be publicly embarrased if I don't achieve the goal :-) Of course, no cheating allowed!

I have been hesitating whether to write this post or not, because it is going to mean a strong commitment, but hey, that's what it's all about, isn't it?

So, please, be hard on me (you have my full permission), no compassion allowed ;-)

I'll get the numbers for february ASAP. It's been a great month for me, but that's just because I hit a very good PPC campaign, and the product is not anymore for sale :-( But I should have worked much much harder in February, as I am now starting from scratch in March.

Anyway, I don't want to bore you to death. Thank you so much for being there. It is great to find a place where people are sincerely happy about your success, not your failure!

Good luck to all!

Raul

P.S. If this is not the place for a post like this, any admin please move it to the right space.
P.P.S. Obviously, any advice from warriors is more than welcome
