I try not to rely too heavily on sceintific proof like this because normally there is another equally valid experiment that proves the opposite. But I agree that experiences not only brings happiness but its helps be more well rounded and worldly which I guess results in happiness and success.

Another comment. Its an incredibly important concept especially in this forum because I see internet marketers especially that just want to make money to buy that lamborghini or huge house. There is much much much more to life than that. And I hate to generalize all Imers in here, clearly many are not that way and still grounded.

For me it went like this:

    1. I first wanted material things.
    2. I then cared about what I did -- My experiences
    3. I then cared about who I did it with -- The Relationships.

    Anyone else have this trend?

hmm...not really noah. I always wanted money but only to do it in a way where I was happy working but ya I definitely feel ya.

    1. I wanted money so I didn't have to go to school and get a desk or a lab job.
    2. I wanted money so I could do more things and have more experiences. Traveling, snowboarding, going to concerts, just to go out more.
    3. I started caring about others a bunch more and I started really caring about the relationships I had in my life.
    4. I wanted money because of the career I chose. Success. The more money I make, the more people I've helped. The better the experience is when I have it ya know?

So I don't know...It's kind of the opposite for me actually lol So ya, it's pretty much the same trend. All things work in cycles
