How to sell a public speaking ebook?

Dear all,

I am a corporate trainer by trade and this is my first foray into internet marketing. I have just finished writing a high-quality ebook on public speaking with original content, intricate designs and quality pictures. The sales copy has been done up and I do have plans to submit it to Clickbank. Nonetheless, does anyone have any other expert advice on how I can sell and/or market this product better?

    Hey Andy,

    You've come to a good place to ask that question. To start, you will probably want to get some folks to review your book and if they like it, provide a testimonial for your sales letters.

    As a professional speaker, I would be happy to read the book and provide feedback. I am definitely in your target market.

    You need a list...

    You need find out who buys your product?

    then you need find out where do they hangout at internet?

    What magazine do they read?

    What book do they purchase?

    What TV do they watch?

    What website do they visit?

    Then, you need a "hook", a hook to build your list...

    Once you have the list... you start to develop relationship..

    relationship -> pre-launch -> launch your product..

    build your own blog, set up twitter, answer all their questions..

    It's a long process...

      Ya, but...maybe, considering it's his first sale, he should focus on forums so his reputation doesn't get put on the line in his first product....it's dangerous to launch before you test.

      So Just sell on some forums!! I'm sure there's a forum on public speaking!! Go find it...then study what they want then give it to them. Get feedback then make it better...slowly build up your customers until you feel your ready for launch...then add one step at a time! Get into blogging and twittering...social networking and keep selling on your forums...then you can start to get into the bigger marketing concepts.

      Don't try to do too much at once!! Please trust me on this one...it took me a long time to learn this....and almost a head explosion lol

      hahahaha....I have such bad stage fright!! Soo funny....but only when people don't care about what I have to say. When people are interested I can engage!!

    you need ask someone with authority to do the review...

    video review is better than plain text review..

    you need give them ethic bribe...

    to do a review for you

    If it is high quality, contact some sites that deal with that subject and offer a good commission rate on sales if they promote it. Also if it is genuinely in=depth, how about selling it on amazon in kindle format. Not sure this is a self-improvement question as such though, more a general marketing one?
