Thought analysis and control - ultimate success secret

A lot of people overlook this one, think it's a load of crock, or just don't believe, but the real simple truth to life and the universe is to really pay attention to your thoughts, and be able to control them. To be able to stop thinking whenever you should (when negative thoughts pervade you) and not just to think positive all the time, but to truly pay attention to everything you think, and think about only good things that you want. Visualize attaining your goals, and keep thinking that there's no other possibility for the future. Don't let yourself spend 5 minutes in a day even, thinking about what you fear will happen. The only think you have to fear is fear itself.
Truly follow this and you will stay motivated, successful and on the path you should be on.

    Very cool post.

This IS the most underrated process in life.

Start with the mind, move to emotional, THEN live in the physical.

Couldn't agree more. I recently started wearing a thin rubber band on my right hand. My goal is to make it 30 days with out thinking a negative thought for more then 10 seconds. If I slip up and think negatively for more then 10 seconds I must put the rubber band on the other hand and start over. The longest I have made so far is a week.

      Kind Regards,

      Steller

We are a product of our thoughts and programming. We are a biological machine. If we can control our programming then we can reprogram ourselves for whatever we want.

Thought with emotion and action = RESULT.

That was taught to me by a counsellor that saved my life. Quite literally saved my life. So I know this stuff works.

You are so right man....Infact i would say that you have actually revealed one of the secrets of success. It is so important to gain control over your thoughts. I even suggest to practice concentration exercises to gain control over thoughts. It does take some time...may be some months if done regulerly...but it does elemenate many problems. Thanks for the post..i hope many will get benefit from it....

Thanks for the kind words, and glad to see other people with healthy minds out there.
We should all make use of these "thanks" buttons, I think it's a neat feature I haven't seen it on another forum.

You can accomplish anything if you set your mind to it. I try to give all the secrets to success that I can to my followers. I'll be posting more to my blog here soon, and I'm going to see if I can get posts going back and forth between here and my website, xInd Business Guild - Freelance Writing/Virtual Assistants.

Thanks for sharing the elastic band idea, that's a good one.
Anyone have any more thought management techniques they might be interested in sharing?

I'm convinced that control and command of deep-seated beliefs, mental programming, and inner dialogue are the keys to the life you want.

"When the voice and the vision, on the inside, is more clear, more loud and more profound, than the opinions on the outside, then you have truly mastered your life" - Dr John F Demartini

Good stuff xception. A lot of people get lost in their thoughts, thinking about what they want to accomplish. Instead they need to stop thinking and start doing.

Once you get out of your head to turn your visualizations into actualization, that's when you'll start to see the success you've always dreamed of.

    Definitely, Sam.
Without action there is no result.
It's also important to remember that you are always responsible for your actions though, and even when following a group or getting involved in something.
Responsibility and blame are two different states of mind. The first is powerful beyond all measure. The other makes one utterly powerless.
The responsibility one has is to take action, but to take the right action they believe to be the best choice. Notice I say that they believe, if you truly believe you are correct, you truly believe in yourself and your values, even if you disagree, or the consequences or reactions are not what you expected or wanted... You still did the right thing. You took your knowledge, your skills, and who you are and used those for the basis of formulating your choice using the tools you have. There is nothing more we can do in the linear illusion we call the present. Just keep reflecting, communicating, growing and learning.

P.S. Can you guys 'thanks' button me here? Somebody told me they couldn't see the thanks button so I was just wondering if something's up?

Ill say it before and ill say it again. All we are is thought. We become what we think about. Here's what you do.
    1.Create some dope affirmations.

2.Say it with passion and destroy your negative thought patterns within 30 days.

    3.You win....

4.Just remember to be persistent and believe...for this is how the greatest people in this world owned their destinies as wolves and never sheep.

    Cheers!

Yes i also add to this that you don't think of many things at same time , but focus and focus on one thing and once you achieve it go ahead!

In general, I agree with everything here. However, I would point out that fear is a real emotion, and it has a purpose. It is the "natural emotional response to perceived threat." Now it's true that perception is often faulty, and the threat is not real. But there are real threats, too. And ignoring the actual sensation of fear would be counter-productive and possibly fatal.
