An internet marketing told me that he has been having tough times in his internet business. Then, I asked him what he has been doing only to find out that he has been jumping from one online business to the other.

Guess what I told him:

"My friend, it is not like that. You don't succeed in this IM thing by trying to be a jack of all trades. I read a book that told me that if my eyes be single, my whole body will be full of light. To me, this means that you have to focus on one thing for you to succeed.

My friend, let your eyes be in one place as if you have just one eye. Let your feet be in one place as if you have only one foot.

Yes, the winning formula in this war is FOOT. This means Focus On One Thing."

Sincerely speaking, when I finished talking to my friend, he was smiling which convinced me that I really fired him up.

Well, I'm not sure I gave him the right advice. Would you have told him something else?

      Yep, the problem of many new IMers is that they often give up much to early when trieing out something. As businessminder already said, it's not bad -or better- it's essential to try things out. But if you don't give them time or at least focus your efforts on a specific project you won't succed. So what you said to your friend was good, but say him also if he doesn't succed in the thing he tries he shouldn't give up the whole im thing.
