"Unless you change how you are,you will always have what you've got" Jim Rohn

A fantastic quote for success as well.

I feel We all sometimes get comfortable in our lives and so do our clients and customers. The same thing, same routine, same habits.

It's good for life and business to really step back and change things you are doing now that you know you need to change and don't be scared to make yourself uncomfortable.

The more you push yourself day by day the easier it will be to become the true person you want to be.

Good points. Routines can be good, but if they're nonproductive, not so much. When I push myself, I am always surprised at how much I can really accomplish.

Well, I agree with this concept as I am interpreting it. I'm sure you've heard of the quote, "The definition of insanity is doing the same thing and expecting different results." I can't recall who said it, but I believe that it is true. If you want things to be different in your life, then you have to be willing to shake things up and make changes.

I watch the reality show, "Ruby", which is a show about a lovely, charming, outgoing, positive woman who is in the process of losing hundreds of pounds. I believe she originally weighed over 700 pounds. Now she weighs just over 300 pounds. Anyway, on this week's show, her therapist suggested that she change five things in her life to help her get over her recent weight loss plateau and break out of the 300's. It was pretty cool to see her and the people in her life sort through what five things she could shift that would help her. The general lesson that came out of that episode was that although it make be challenging to give things up or to change an approach to something, the benefits can be surprisingly rewarding. Trust the process!

I have also heard that one of the things that is recommended in Feng Shui is to change things in your environment periodically to shift and enhance energy flow.

Those are two of the examples that come to mind about the benefits of making changes. I've always been a fan of pushing myself to do things differently and to try new things. Sure it can be scary, but it is exhilarating as well.

I'll wrap up with this wonderful insight from Wayne Dyer: When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

Absolutely. The way I found that works for my clients and myself is breaking down big goals into small pieces to knock out. So you continue to take action, come closer to your end goal, and feel good about accomplishing important tasks versus time wasters.
