Why People Lead Desperate Lives Between Not Enough and . . .

Hey fellow Warriors!

I wrote a quick little 3 pager on why it is that so many people lead desperate lives between not enough and I hate my job!

I thought I would let you guys have at it, if you want, as my way of giving back a little more to the community here at WF!

    Hi Keith, you have certainly put yourself out there with this one. There are many points worth savoring but some are a bit dodgy. I don't believe that people who lead simple lives without riches are miserable or that all rich people are successful.

    Success to me is peace of mind, happiness, a good life, being loving and enjoying the simple things. If one is focussed only on wealth and money making, like some of the people you mentioned, they are not successful in real terms. Most of them make their money by skimming it off others and/or destroying the environment along the way.

    Just a few points. There are others but I won't elaborate at this time

      I want to thank you for your comments! I will re-read what I have written because I don't believe that money is the only measure of success myself.

      You are correct, by me, when you say that happiness, love, peace of mind, and enjoying the simple things in life are also success. I agree with you on this.

      As for putting myself out there . . . well, I feel like that is what I need to do at this point. Put myself out there, take the comments that I get from people and improve from that point.

      As I said in the letter, there has got to be a starting point somewhere, no matter how ugly or hopeless it may seem.

      Once there is a reference point to start from, I can then build a map of where I want to be.

      Again, I do appreciate your comments.

      And I would welcome a PM if you want to elaborate more just to me.

        There is truth in what you say. And I don't think you are saying that money makes you successful. Success comes in so many different forms. But there are people out there that need that extra boost that you write about.

    Keith, I can see in your message something of yourself that probably needs to come out. You are venturing into philosophy which so many have tried to resolve about humanity. In the end its a case of we are all so different and what suits one does not, necessarily, suit another.

    Some like it rich others like it poor, some like to work for a boss while some, like me, have never done that.

    Good on you. Its an interesting and thought provoking thread and I don't mind discussing it in a PM if you want to make contact
