My road to break even :)

I haven't been on the Warrior Forum for more than maybe and hour lol. But I'd like to share what I plan on doing.

It's pretty simple but affective. I want to open a site up and make a lot of money... but who doesn't lol.

I want to open a site where 75% of my revenue comes from adsense. If I can get my site big enough to need a dedicated server or two that would be amazing. But I would be needing to make a lot of revenue from adsense in order to pay for the dedicated server.

I recently got laid off, well not so much recently... maybe 9-10 months ago. So I was sitting on my couch watching TV and I was thinking to myself "I'm online a lot, why can't I just make it my job?". I've been playing an online text based game for a while and I've run into a few good programmers that I've became friends with.

So over the last few months I've been writing up a business plan so that I can get funding for this new big site I dream of. I'm in the final stages of my rough draft and the friends I have sent it to think the business plan is amazing and now they are thinking of funding my big site idea. The funding is around $25,000 (I told you it was big lol) but they are still confident in me to do great things with this site. 2 of the 3 friends that looked over my business plan know a lot about online marketing, SEO, and web design but they are in real estate. Pretty much if the 3rd person gives the OK I will probably get funding.

I plan to have roughly 30 blogs that are niche specific. I plan on doing a lot of SEO for these 30 blogs and then have them pointed at the topics within my site so that not only my home page has a high PR but also my top 30 pages.

I'm going to have 100% unique content (content is king ^_^) so that nothing get's seen as duplicate content. I'll be building a ton of high PR backlinks to my main page as well, I'm not sure if I'll do it for my inner pages the same way I'll do it for my home page. But it's still early so who knows xD

I never knew why people would say something like "If I break even I'll be happy" because I always thought go big or go home. I now understand why people are happy when they break even. It's because they profit enough to let their site live another month, or 6 months, or even another year.

I think that through my life I've trusted to many people and now I'm kind of broken (not a sob story lol).

I plan on doing everything top notch and I don't plan on trusting anyone to do something for me. I may have some people help me build backlinks or updates some pages but they will be in the same room, building, or house as I am so that I know they are doing it.

Pretty much I'm posting this to see how far I can go and to keep everyone updated and to pretty much keep tabs on my milestones so that all the warriors can see it's achievable for the little guy.

My road to break even has started and so far so good. I hope we all get rich, but I'd like to break even and be happy rather than rich and miserable. I understand that now
