...Big Time

Does Internet Marketing make you feel good? Does it feel like work? Is it supposed to feel like work? These are some of the questions that I battled today. Why? Because I am seeing some major progress in my projects performance and I feel in my gut that I am about to turn a page here to a new level of success.

It is this desire to turn that next page, to reach the next level of the game if you will that keeps me ticking. Lord knows I've poured all the energy I have into this thing for the last two months and it is starting to pay off. The funny thing is that this almost comes natural to me, it's almost like an enjoyable hobby rather than work. And sure profile back linking is not fun by any means, but the way I market my site's is quite enjoyable.

The funny thing is, I started this journey as a means to an end. I want to be a filmmaker, a producer of entertainment. Conveniently enough my journey into internet marketing opened the door to what will eventually become the method I choose to distribute my entertainment. Never in my wildest dreams did I think the tools I was using to generate cash to fund my true goals would actually lead me straight to the solution for one my biggest problems.

The awesome part of this for me is that instead of abandoning internet marketing after I got what I wanted from it - I am now reworking my true goals to include it! The last two months have been an amazing journey and I'm officially hooked. What do I like about it? The results driven formula that is internet marketing.

I am getting very good at efficiently managing all of my data and lord knows I've only seen the tip of this iceberg. It is fun and exciting to see your progress develop over the course of a period of time. Sure I got frustrated, but the days of excitement far outweigh the frustration.

It is internet marketing where I have found my calling, and the tools and experience (not to mention cash) that I have garnered are the answers to all my problems for my non-internet marketing projects.

Finally I feel like I can say I'm on my way, I'm making it.... Big time!

You most definitely will if you begin to take action, monitor results, and adapt quickly to the unexpected. Simply put, if you are not earning cash or building your network then you need to re-evaluate what you are doing, refocus, and hit it again.

Great stuff! Look forward to your first or next film. It doesn't feel like work for me. Internet Marketing is something I really enjoy.

      Congratulations!

It's always inspiring to hear people reaching that 'tipping point' where it all starts to flow.

Interestingly, I got into IM for the same reasons as you. I'm an actor and writer and started doing IM as a flexible way to make money doing something I enjoy.

I've now got to the stage where my love for theatre and film is overlapping with my passion and enjoyment of internet marketing.

I hope to bump into you in the Chateau Marmont one day when we're both the darlings of the indie film scene.

Nice to see another aspiring entertainer on these boards (usually got hit the uber creative places to find that!) It's so crazy to think that I thought of this literally as a means to an end -- after I made a certain amount of cash my plan was to sell it off and never look back.

Thankfully the tipping point, or the "sweet spot" as I call it brought me such unexpected results that the business man in me saw how what I was learning in IM could bring me great success in my other interests!

The problem in not taking action with my filmmaking dreams came from a fear of not being able to redistribute my work and not earn back my expenses. Then through IM the door opened and the solution appeared. I don't want to give it out on a public forum (simply because I don't feel like any other indie producer is using this method), but I am very confident it will work.

That's funny, as that was exactly my plan too, but with acting and writing. Just use IM as a means to an end.

I'm really pleased that you've been able to combine the two so effectively and that it's now going to lead you to other positive places.

Where can we follow your film adventures?

Unfortunately there is no place right now to really find the film adventure. I still write my stories, but for the last year I have been heavily involved in learning the ins and outs of internet marketing. I think a lot of people take the plunge and work backwards, where I spent a whole year (almost everyday) "juicing" myself into this business.

A writing partner of mine may actually start a web comic before anything film related comes along. Bottom line is that I never, ever, imagined that something so cash related would enhance my ability to find solutions to unrelated problems. It's quite amazing how that works really.

It is amazing, but then you've obviously been clearly focused on the goal of becoming a film maker, so your mind will find ways (as it already has) to shape your experiences in IM towards that goal.

Awesome stuff. Let us know how you progress.

What an inspiring, so well written testimony. You have summed up the aspirations, the failures and the silver linings of all internet marketers. Thank you.

The journey to success is always barricaded with uncertainty, temptations to quit and downright discouragement. But there is also unity of purpose, resilience and desire that supersedes these hurdles. Once the silver rays of the sun appears behind the dawn and the warm caresses of the morning light kiss the tree tops, then the heart is warmed too in the knowledge that a new day has buried the old.

Again thank you for your words.

All right ! Good for you Mainstreet! I feel you on the part about this IM stuff being more than a side job. It is really like a hobby, and it invigorates me every time I see those numbers going up, or my projects coming to life through hard work. Keep it up man, and shape it into your true dream. That's where the real fulfillment and, not to mention the money, are at!
