If you want to be succesfull you have to take care of your health.
Do you smoke? Every cigarette cand cause genes mutation. Read this article or more info:

Heavy smokers who get lung cancer may have tens of thousands of genetic mutations, U.S. researchers said on Wednesday.

A team at Roche's biotechnology unit Genentech in California compared all the genetic changes in a single patient's lung tumor with healthy tissue from the patient, a 51-year-old man who had smoked an average of 25 cigarettes per day for 15 years before the tumor was removed.

What they found were as many as 50,000 genetic mutations.

    Apart from the foregoing, I think that to be fit and healthy, you dont just get your ass out from vice but you also need to work on your body, e.i. do some physical activities. It statistics continue to point out that 80% of the human population don't participate in exercise, our longevity will be shortened on a great length. Success, too, will be shortchanged.

    Beside health, I would say mental health is another area lots of people are forgetting or ignoring.

    There isn't much attention is given to mental well being.

    Do you know how much stress can you take? What is the measurement for stress and what happens when the maximum level reached?

    I sort of disagree actually.. even if you have health problems - self inflicted or genetic or whatever - you still have the ability to find success in business. Health will influence your success in sports massively, but it is not the same in business- ESPECIALLY in Internet Marketing - pretty muc no matter what health problems you suffer you can sit behind your computer and write.

    Well, I don't think that health is paramount to being successful but I do think that health is really important in order to properly enjoy success and the things it brings along.

    Health is largely a state of mind. The majority of people on long term disability don't need to be.

    All mindwarriors should read Dr Sarno's books like The Mindbody Prescription. The Secret hints at the power we can have over our own health, but it does a pretty poor job of explaining the power in this area. Sadly the healthcare industry suppress this knowledge (the wiki article is always getting removed!) so only a few of us know of its power.

    For the record my grandparents are in their late 80's, my grandfather was a heavy smoker for years and they both eat loads of fatty food and don't exercise much.

    I believe the way you feel about yourself is much more important than smoking, drinking, exercising.....

    Stress, overworking, lack of sleep, etc. are just one of many contributing factors. If we then add the smoking, the drinking part and lack of exercise, then you have great all types of sickness.

    I never smoke. I'm always taking care of my body as I also want to live longer and richer. That should be the mindset of smokers nowadays.

    Looking after yourself is so very important. If you are not looking after yourself you cannot be there for others as much as you might want to. I had to separate from my husband and go through all the relationship-breakdown-with-small-child issues to learn that one!! And I am so much better for it now.

    Sleep is a huge one for me. Being really sleep deprived makes you a different person, and not the better version of you. For me lack of sleep starts a whole down spiral - I start to eat bad food, which makes me more tired and cranky, then I eat more to eat down the stress, put on weight, start getting depressed... it's all not pretty, don't ever want to go back there!
