Are Your "Nevillizing" Your Goals?

One of my favorite authors is Joe Vitale. In his book "The Attractor Factor" - which I strongly suggest to anyone who wants to make their dreams come true - he speaks of a teacher names Neville Goddard. Goddard specialized in teaching people how to visualize that their goal has already been obtained.

The key is to treat your goal as if you already have it. Live in your mental picture, in the Now. Some make the error is intending to have their goal in the future, which never arrives. Others see their goal but don't inject their mental picture with the strong emotions which attract whatever is necessary for its manifestation.

See, hear, taste, touch and smell your mental picture. See the distinct expression of joy on your partner's face as you move into your new home. Here the rev of your new Ferrari's engine, as if you own it now. Imagine when you just stepped into it for the first time. How would you feel? As Goddard said, feel the thrill of the experience having already occurred.

Set aside at least 30 minutes a day to engage in practical visualizing. These aren't airy day-dreams: these sessions are about visualizing with a purpose. Practice every day....never take a day off because your attractive magnet weakens when the picture of you in possession of your goal isn't introduced to the universe on a daily basis. You will fill the imagination with pictures of your current results all day, which brings the same results over and over. This is why most people appear to be going in a circle for their lives. They ignore the visualizing faculty. This is also why practical dreamers become billionaires, miracle workers and the leaders of the world. They dream all the time and believe that their dreams have already come true.

This takes practice but with time and effort the result of experiencing the mental picture which you lived in is well worth it.

Nice post, thanks for re-affirming that visualization is compulsory on a daily basis.

    Thanks tk

Visualizing must be done on a consistent basis if you are to see any of its benefits.

So true, Ryan. If we put out the wanting of not yet having achieved our goals, we attract more wanting.

I would add that when we visualize, though, it's important to put out the vibration of the feeling and not just the thought. That's what the Universe responds to most.

Awesome post! "The Attractor Factor" was the very first book on LOA that I've ever read. I've been hooked ever since. One of the best things I've learned from Joe Vitale is to have the belief that, "The more money I spend, the more money I make."

Nevilizing is a great way to be sure that you are focusing on having what you want rather than focusing on the lack of it.

Einstein theorized that the past, present, and future happen simultaneously. So in esscence all your goals have already been achieved. So imagining your goals as if you already achieved them isn't much of a stretch.
