Affiliate Marketing can be frustrating.

It's frustrating to FINALLY make some steady sales... and then have them stop out of nowhere.

Worse than that, though...

It's frustrating as hell to never see ANY commissions from all of your hard work!

I'd like to share a couple tips today to make affiliate marketing less frustrating for ya.

Tip #1

Create unique pages for each product you plan on promoting as an affiliate. Now this might sound like it'd be a lot of extra work, but it really isn't that bad.

It might seem like a good idea "on the surface" to just set up an affiliate store -- offering all kinds of products in one location.

After all, the more products you have available... the more likely your visitors are to buy, right?

Wrong.

Sorry!

Most people... when presented with a lot of choices... don't make a choice at all. They just leave.

So creating a unique page for every single product you promote is the best option... because you focus on one thing... and you don't overwhelm your visitor with too many choices.

Speaking of traffic, let's move on to the second tip.

Tip #2

Drive TARGETED traffic to your offers.

Everybody and their brother talks about the importance of targeted traffic... but there's a reason for it.

Quality is MUCH more important than quantity when it comes to getting traffic to your affiliate offerings, so just forget about numbers for a second.

You've gotta get inside the mind of the consumer... and ask yourself:

- Who would REALLY want/need this product?

- HOW would they search for it online?

- WHERE would this type of person "hang out" online?

Or, even better yet, ask:

- If *I* had the exact problem that this product solves, how would *I* search for the answer?

    I'd have to disagree based on my personal experience with some of what you have said. Multi-product review pages have worked wonders for me when it comes to conversions.

    I have been making niche sites since 2007 and present my viewers with multiple reviews.

    This has worked out greatly for me. I do however provide separate pages for each product I review that gives a little more details.

    Benefits of using a multi-product review pages

    Higher CTR rates to your merchant pages. I have landing pages that generate 90% CTR. The reason for this are simple. People are shopping. My main landing pages gives short reviews. Visitors then check out these site for themselves come back to my site then review other offers.

    Once they see something they like they click links to more detailed reviews. Conversion on these pages are through the roof.

    It is in peoples nature to compare between one or more thing then grab the one that they feel is best for them.

    Another benefit is Search engine rankings. I have landing pages that rank for many product name keywords coming to my main page. There have been situations were person searching for product A ended up purchasing product C. There is a chance I could have lost this sale If product C had not been mentioned on the sales page.

    Finally you will be seen as an authority expert in your niche if you know more information on other products in that niche..

    My highest converting landing page converts steady at or around 20% for all traffic and this page reviews several similar products.

        All products are related to my niche website.

        Example

        A Niche Site Title "Pro Auto-responder Reviews" Would Review, Rate, And Compare 3 to 5 similar services. The first review would be my most recommended service.

        Product brand name keywords are near the end of they buying cycle and are the best keywords to go after.

        When your stumped on what keywords to go after, after you went..

        narrow - "Aweber Discount Codes"
        mid range "Aweber Autoresponder Reviews"
        broad "Best Autoresponder Service"

        Target other product name keywords and send them to your multi-review pages. I get product sales from other product name keywords for my lead product all the time regardless of rather I provide reviews based on these keywords or not.

        Also its easier to come up with content for your niche site. People that land on product specific website are excepting content related to that product and their is only so much content you can write about a product.

        Building a niche site will allow you to have a large variety of content that the search engines will love.

            No I present my #1 product recommendation as the best option first on the page. The rest of the review are below all on the same page.

              Yes, I know.

              What I'm saying is, the fact that you do a comparison and present your recommendations, is like telling your visitors - look, I have all those products in here but you should focus on this one....

              You help them choose. And that's pretty much like having a single product on that page.

                From my experience, multi CROSS products work. Meaning to say, promoting different products but of the same niche has actually helped me increase my sales and profits.
