You Can't Succeed Without This Tip.

Fear of failure is what keeps most people from achieving success or obtaining and maintaining happiness. We race to the finish line to never jog a mile. The shameful fact is all of you can change your lives. All we need is some improvement. You can right now begin to think in terms of prosperity, good thoughts, roll over the barriers of the naysayers and do what you need to do in order to achieve those goals.

What's stopping you is your lack of initiative. It's all about the desire to be more than what you are. This is what sets you apart from those who talk, but never walk.

A young man asked Socrates how he could get wisdom.

Socrates replied, "Come with me." He took the lad to the river, pushed the boy's head under water, held it there until the boy was gasping for air, then relaxed and released his head.

When the boy regained his composure, he asked him, "What did you most desire when you were underwater?"
"I wanted air," Said the boy.

Socrates said to him, "When you want wisdom as much as you wanted air when you were underwater, then you will receive it".

Likewise, if you have an intense desire to pursue happiness through goal completion nothing can conquer your thirst for triumph besides you.
As Napoleon Hill said "Desire is the starting point of all great successes". A desire to be happy drives out fear of failure.

A desire to be successful drives out pessimistic habits of criticisms. A desire to be happy right now can be strong enough to make this demand occur. The strength of your desire determines the strength of your will power.

You must will yourself to do what you know you should do, even if you don't feel like it. Your mind is a bargaining center, whatever you ask, it will provide you. Want happiness, why wait. Start setting goals, become grateful and help others be whole again.

Let me share with you one of my favorite poems by J.B Rittenhouse:

"I bargained with Life for a penny,
And Life would pay no more,
However I begged at evening
When I counted my scanty store;
For Life is a just employer,
He gives you what you ask,
But once you have set the wages,
Why, you must bear the task.
I worked for a menial's hire,
Only to learn, dismayed,
That any wage I had asked of Life,
Life would have willingly paid."

All great successes and failures are preceded through a great desire. Crowned at the top of the sphere is a spot waiting for you. A place for the new happy goal oriented you. Bargain for more than a shine coin of George Washington. Bargain for the universe, you're sure to get it.

Are you guys ready to reach for the stars, just to get an ariel glimpse of the moon?

Sincerely Yours,

Jonathan Figaro, TheDropoutkid

It's that constant hunger for success that keeps me awake 20+ hours a day. It just won't leave me alone!

I'm grateful for this insatiable thirst. Without it, I'd be a full-time slacker.

Failure is what makes us stronger because we actually learn not to do it again. The truth is... everybody has fears, but have the courage go on anyhow because it will be worth it

Purity of Intent is an awesome thing.

Why? Desire turns to action. Action changes things in physical reality.

Everything else is careful observation so you know what you're changing and iterating more effective versions.

Good post! Yes the fear of failure can really come into play in IM. As a matter of fact, a lot of what we do online is based on overcoming mental challenges and barriers.

Nice tips. I think fear of failure really holds people back. We tend to take failure personally so we don't try to take risks. I think removing a bit of the "taking it personally" thing helps.

Fantastic Posts Failure and fear of failure are two huge obstacles to overcome. I have them listed as two separate items because they truly are. If you try and fail, it takes courage and strength to pick yourself up and try again. Fear of failure is just as difficult, as the fear of failure is what holds you back, and makes you afraid of taking action. Important lessons on succeeding. Thank you for posting.

Don't forget you have (as T Harv Eker described) a financial thermometer that dictates how much money you can earn. Notice how both people whom lost a fortune are able to make it again while people that win lotteries go back to their original financial state (this isn't speculations, I've seen stories).
