Does Late Night Eating Make You Fat

Fellow Warriors,
Here's an article I wrote on Six Pack Diet |Six Pack Ab Workout|Bodybuilding Routine| Jimmy Smith on the topic of late night eating. Hope you like it

Do late night meals make you fat? More importantly do late nights make you fat? The answer is yes and no.

Now if you've read my article on nighttime nutrition then you'll realize that eating at night or late night meals does not make you fat.
You see provided that whatever you eat at night fits into your calorie goals or macronutrient goal for the day like I teach here then you're fine.

The only reason that the rumor that late night eating made you fat even started to exist was the fear that at night all you do is sit down on the couch and watch tv. Sure, you aren't doing anything to burn calories but if you've worked out during the day and your calories fit into your macronutrient numbers then you'll be fine so late night meals don't make you fat!

Now late nights are another story. Yes late nights make you fat. You need sleep, sleep is vital for recovery and it helps to keep our fat loss and muscle building hormones healthy. If we have too many nights out, our body doesn't get the proper rest and our hormones are all screwed up and screwed up hormones make us fat.
To lose fat you need to sleep.

There's a lot of different opinions about this but I think it's more about how much you eat during whatever your day may be ( if you work nights than your day may be over night). Eat enough to keep your body nourished and try not to take in a lot of excess calories. I don't think it matters that much when you eat, I think it's more about what you eat, how much you eat, and how much physical activity you get.

It absolutely matters when you eat. The same food does not have the same effect early in the morning and late at night. Just try it with, say, fresh fruit juices. Refreshing in the morning, can even cramp up your stomach when you're going to sleep.

In the same way, yes it's possible late night eating makes you fat because the body's natural cycles are slower and different during the night. Many other factors obviously figure into this, but the basic premise is sound...

It makes you feel bloated when you wake up though, and esp. if you aren't planning on taking another shower going to sleep with oily face and fingers = ew.

If you're a Secretoid you can eat McDonalds 24/7 and never gain a pound. You just have to think and emit thin thought waves and the Universe will grant your wish.
