How do you deal with roadblocks, rejection, etc...

Hey All,

I made this video blog post last week after I was pretty pissed off about a lady from a small business agency who outright rejected my offer to do an Internet Marketing presentation for small business owners.

Rejection I'm fine with... but in this case, she shot me down without even knowing what my offer was.

    I think this speaks wonders to those who have a hard time getting over that first hurdle. Just do it. Don't worry about rejection, and fight it when it comes to you unnaturally. In the video you explained that they told you NO without having any idea what you wanted to present to them. Your light years ahead of everyone else if you do what he talks about in the vid.

      Thanks for your feedback here.

      I think the main message is... be prepared for setbacks. Unless you can deal with setbacks over and over and over again, you are not cut out for running your own business. I've been a full time business owner for 3 years and I have spent far more time retooling and recovering from ideas that did not work than anything else. It is simply part of the learning and earning process.

      Hopefully this gives you some fuel to be persistent!
