I am a blogger. I love blogging, but eventually I would like to make a living as a blogger. I understand how difficult this is or the fact that they make it sound difficult. My question is this. If I keep at it and constantly write quality posts and believe in myself and do marketing, is success eventual? Is it possible to believe in "The Secret" and still fail?

Success is a result of cause and effect. If you want a certain effect you can trace it back to the cause. When you model the cause you have a great chance of getting the effect that you want.

Well exactly that is what ultimately leads to success, doing what you are passionate about and be persistent in your efforts.

It's not about a belief in anything. If it were, then the flip side of your
reasoning would be if you don't believe in "the secret," then you can't
      succeed.

I remember what the Beatles once said when people referred to them as
overnight sensations. (okay, may a little poetic license here, but they said
something like it) Paul McCartney said we worked hard for 6 years to
      become an overnight success.

There are varying degrees of success. Don't quit your day job.

If you were disappointed in your results today, lower your standards tomorrow.

With a solid plan, determination, and a positive mental attitude ... Success is inevitable. (Literally.)

Remember to have fun on the journey. (By doing something you're passionate about.) You can only fail if you stop taking action. And, even then, you can start all over.

    Good question.

If you love blogging and want to be a blogger, and you are a blogger, then you are successful. That's the definition of success: Truly being what you do, and doing what you truly are.
If there is some other, unspoken part of your definition of "success," then that needs to be examined. Is it an essential part of living the life you want to live?

Well he would eventually make the desired amount of money once he brings himself to act and be persistent long enough to eventually see the success.
