Need some help to change my life around

Ok so lately i've been going all downward in life, everything i touch turns to sh!t. I lost my study privilege, so i had to drop out of collage, I'm 17,000 kunas in debt (around $3000), I have no job, I live with my parents, they are unemployed as well and I'll have to start paying off my debt soon.

So i've decided to change my life around (about time, right?) I wanna do things WAY different.

First thing's first: I must get my priorities straight, I must start organizing my life in a different way. So barely have I started to change my ways and there I go getting stuck. (probably the reason why i didn't manage to work it out in the first place).

So can anyone explain to me, in simple terms, what is an action plan, how to make one?

Greatly appreciated,
TheGodfather

First off you want to visualize where you want to be, what your goals are.

This is a lot like a timeline. What you want to do is write a list of things that would have to happen to accomplish your goals. Really analyze what each stage would take to finish. Getting a job for example. You need a resume, a job type you are looking for, a plan to get that job. Getting a job may be one thing on your list of goals. So creating an action plan is tedious. Remember this is an ACTION plan. Which means at some point you have to start planning and start doing.

Go to a library and study on a certain job. Find an edge and go with it. The only way to do this is to DO. Get out and do something every day all day. Go for it. You have the want and desire to have better for you and your family. Get out there and meet people, become excellent at everything you do and work your way up from the ground up. Good luck. I will pray for you and your endevors. I will pray that you find the drive to accomplish your goals.

thank you so very much, support means a lot today, and the last few days, since all i've been hearing is bi**ing about droping out of college, but rhe fact of the matter is: i don't want to waste 5 years of my life to WORK FOR SOMEONE ELSE.

As it was once said: if you don't strive to achieve your dreams you are doomed to achieve them for someone else.

and personally i'd prefer to fulfill them for myself.

Also, can anyone suggest a good phrasing for this goal: make 1 million dollars in 1 year.

I was thinking something in the lines of: make one million in one year or die trying

    Hi GodFather.

I'm going to suggest something very simple, but don't let that fool you because it's very "potent." All you need is 3 legal pads and a few hours of your time.

I'm recommending this because after you've completed the exercise, you'll have everything prioritized so you know what to start on immediately. You'll have a list of all your fears (this is amazing, wait and see) and you'll have a list of all your long-term goals.

Now, this doesn't seem like much, however, the writing itself is very "helpful." (Many psychologists recommend it to overcome fear.)

That's not the best part though. The best part is that instead of feeling overwhelmed by everything- you’ll literally "see" everything that's going on in your mind. From your biggest fear to your most ambitious dream.

All there. Written down. Ready for you to focus on.

The First Thing you want to do is develop A Success and Prosperity Mindset. You do this by controlling your programming. Your programming includes, tv, internet, friends, family and government. The Mind Warrior Success forum is a good place to start. You can browse thru previous threads. You want to read books. listen to tapes/CD's/DVD's and associate with Success minded people. Once you control your thought programming you will start to change your life in a Positive Way.

My best advice would be to read two books, both by Stephen Covey:
The 7 Habits of Highly Successful People, and
    First Things First.
These two classics will start you on a road (the right road) to a new life, an authentic life, your life!
    Best of luck!

First of all you should decide what priorities do you have. Write them down to be more specific. Then imagine your goal. Imagine that you have gained everything you ever wanted. Then think out the ways of reaching this.
Don't affraid to earn money, to be even silly in achieving your aims.
One friend of mine even worked as a statue in the centre of big city when she urgently felt the need in money.
    Good Luck.

more true words have never been spoken.

I started to apply for jobs, so far sent 2 applications. Hope I get one of the jobs, will have to wait for a week or so to find out, in the mean while I'm straightening my priorities, I'm getting more organized and everything that shouldn't be hovering inside my head is going on paper. Also I'm hoping to get started in some of my plans and dreams so I can start living the way I want to live, and earn as much as I want to earn.

It is better to spend some time alone away from all the distractions.
I was thinking exactly that, I need to find some peace (peace of mind), away from instant messaging programs, facebook, skype, cell phone etc...

      Everything must go.

Thanks everybody for all the support, it really means a lot.

You all should get organized and then have someone pay you to be a professional cheering squad in ball games

        Hi "Godfather"

This is my first post on the WF (;>), just because as a life coach, I might have something of any interest to you.

There are no unique answers to your request, and you already had very good repplies. Plus, you yourself have already followed some of the indicated steps (reboot method, 7 habits, visualizing, setting up a plan..).

Here are a few more possible paths:

        - deal with your emotions/beliefs/negativity. Find an eft practitionner and reduce some of the emotional burden you have, whatever it is.
        - do some family work, "family or systemic constellations"
        - learn to love and forgive you, be kind with yourself (for instance earn a million in a year or die is not necessarily kind!). Read Colin Tipping

You can also contact me. I don't know if I'm allowed to give you my personal details, I'm new to Web marketing and this forum, so I don't want to break rules! ... but you'll find me back if needed.

All the best. Keep your spirit high!

It is better to spend some time alone away from all the distractions. When you are in mid of lot of noise and "accusations", it is impossible to think clearly. Moreover, do some introspection and try to understand why all that you touch or do is crumbling. Rather, your answers to your lingering doubts lies there. Moreover, contemplate for few days about what is best for you and what you desire to do. Put the end goal in mind with a specific time frame.

Once you have fixed your gaze on your goal, do everything in your capacity to reach the goal, though one step a time. Have faith in yourself and visualize your goal everyday and believe that you are already living the life of your dreams. Rest will follow!

I was in your shoes about 2 years ago.

I got fired from my job, and hit rock bottom.

It was the worst time in my life. What I did was suck it up, be a man and take action, instead of dwelling on the past.

Yeah, relationships with a lot of people went straight down the ****ter. I said a lot of mean things to some close people... I wasn't mad at them.

I was mad at myself for failing.

In saying that, I learned an important lesson.

I didn't want to get pimped.

That's bascially what an employee is getting. You get pimped. Like it or not. You are working to make someone else rich... Who said you can't step into their shoes and BE the pimp?

My words come off abrasive sometimes, but they often help people to wake up and do something about it.

I have often wondered why work is called work. When did it start? I like the term "I`m going to fun" Well on most days anyway. And another thing, why is the work period five days instead of two.

I would prefer to have five days off instead of two every week. Of course, it goes without saying, I would expect the same pay!

    The Godfather,

Hi - I have been where you are, it is an uncomfortable place to be in. But I think that is a good thing because it motivates us to strive for better things.

You are already one step ahead of most people by realizing you want better for yourself, even though I sense your frustration.

What is it that you would REALLY like to do?

If you enjoy the journey, things are no longer "work". Like mentioned in several posts above, do at least one thing each day that will get you closer to what you want, no matter how small it seems.

You may have to work for others in the meantime, but think of it as a means to an end. If you are making steady progress on your own goal (even if it is slower than you would like) eventually you will get somewhere!

Try to find enjoyment in whatever you can, that will get you in the right "vibe" for good things to come your way.

    Good luck & best wishes,
    Barbara Jean

Mike Fisame sent out an email recently bringing an old story back to light called "The Magic Story". You should be able to find it for free on the internet. The story is very similar to yours and mmay be of help, I hope so.

This might also be helpful. Fill in the blanks and look at it firtst thing in the morning and last thing at night (and any other time you think of it). It comes from "Think and Grow Rich", the granddaddy of success books.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

By the fist day of [ Date you want to complete this goal] , I will have in my possession [Amount of money], which will come to me in various amounts from time to time during the interim.
In return for this money, I will give the most efficient service of which I am capable, rendering the fullest possible quantity, and the best possible quality of service in the capacity of [job you want].
I believe that I will have this money in my possession. My faith is so strong that I can now see this money before my eyes. I can touch it with my hands. It is now awaiting transfer to me at the time, and in the proportion that I deliver the service I intend to render in return for it. I am awaiting a plan by which to accumulate this money, and I will follow that plan, when it is received.

This should be spoken out loud morning and night until you can see in your imagination the money.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
