    I've always applauded Richard Carlson's Don't Sweat the Small Stuff (and it's all small stuff), especially his take on "increasing your tolerance to stress."

    DECREASE your tolerance of stress. Get rid of the stress. That's the way to go!

    Eastern meditation techniques like this can be very effective. I've been reading books by Dr. Andrew Weil and he is a major believer in this type of practice. Self hypnosis and meditation are both excellent methods for reducing stress.

        When ever i find my self stressing out its because i think to much and dont do enough but instead spend most of my time thinking. If you are stressing out then i think one of the reasons is because you dont spend enough time tacking action. Taking action helps dealing with stress.

    I'm very interested in Reiki and have a friend who practices it,he once tried healing my back and it was the strangest sensation my back went very warm to touch and slightly numb and for a while (rest of that day)at least I was pain free.But I was unaware you could actually use Reiki on yourself,thanks for this suggestion
