"Determination" will easily wear off for no apparent reason. "Spirit" will soon fade without a definite purpose! Synthesize the determination and spirit at the target point "worth it", then the large Achievement & Success will follow soon!

    The "Why" is so important. It's the invisible component of the "What", meaning the feeling which you will experience when in possession of the goal. You are looking for the Why; the What is simply a vehicle.

    Goals and spirit are so important but one cannot be permanently 'fired up', so a large amount of bloody mindedness, maturity, self discipline, and tenacity will see you through when you'd rather put the feet up, or spend time with the family.

    It's also important to create a stable balance that works for you.
