3 Effectiveness Builders

I'm big effectiveness. It's THE form of leveraging.

When acts are effective they create the most impact with the smallest amount of effort.

Here are my Top 5 Fave effectiveness builders:

1 Set aside 1-2 hours each day for meditation or doing and thinking nothing.

- Shut off the phone, computer or outside world if you can.
- When your mind is still the best ideas appear which lead you into effective action.

2 Time tasks

- Schedule your work.
- Time each task and when the alarm rings, move on.
- This promotes the mindset of not becoming too attached to any one activity.

3 Go offline for extended periods

- Work a set period each day, then go offline
- This helps you to keep "light" about your work, preventing stress and strain which brings you positive results more quickly.

How do you build effectiveness?

Great formula. The third one can be hard, but I get up and go for a walk or do something else for awhile.
    Thanks

    Hi Zeden_Rakam,

This is true, when having a passion for something you can do it day and night.

A word of advice: never forget to pull back and attract. Downtime is necessary sometimes, no matter how much you love what you do.

I love what I do but when at work try to intellectualize or think things through. Nothing wrong with that but when you've pulled back entirely from your work with practices like meditating, things tend to happen super fast because the conscious mind is submerged and the universe goes to work without thoughts getting in the way

The way of least effort is the best.

      I completely agree with you.
After I started working online, after a few hours of work I have this need to just go outside and not be cooped up in my office. I think it's very important that we do take time to do this because our brains need a break after a while and if we don't take those breaks, there will be emotional ramifications.
Don't let all the success get to you, still take that time for yourself. It will keep you sane

Always always always helpful, Ryan. Once again, thank you!
    A comment about your #1:
Reformer Martin Luther (1483-1546) always spent three hours in prayer each day. People would ask, "How do you find time to get everything done if you're spending three hours praying?!"
His answer: "I would never find time to get everything done if I didn't pray at least three hours a day."
