Everything is hard in the beginning. Everything new requires hard work, patience, persistence. Basically, never give up.

You can do great things with affiliate & internet marketing, especially if you live in a 3rd world country where salaries are less than 200$ / month.

I suggest you keep reading for a couple weeks - everything from keyword research, onsite/offsite seo, link building & link bait techniques, preselling techniques etc.

Jot down important things then simply (after 1 month of reading) start putting everything into practice. You'll probably fail at the first few attempts (we all did) but eventually you'll hit the jackpot.

Marketing takes a day to learn and a lifetime to master. You will get it. Just keep testing and monitor your results.

It is harder not to learn marketing skill than to learn it.

Why? If you can pay the price to learn it, you will be glad you did when the fruit of your labor begins to spring up.

    Harvest starts from seed sowing.

Learning does not kill just like seed sowing does not kill the farmer!

Embrace one marketing technique and stick with it for a few months. Start to become an expert with this strategy. Learn it inside out. Eventually you gain confidence in your abilities and will see some solid results.

This practice helped me immeasurably when I was new to IM.

Marketing DEFINITELY boils down to how well you can communicate your message to other people.

And the KEY word there is: PEOPLE.

To become a great marketer...you need to be acutely aware of other people's needs and wants...such that you can offer them products that solve their problems.

And in the context of marketing online...you need to be able to communicate that effectively.

So, I guess...it really is a skill in communication rather than magic tricks - and just think of it as learning to understand people really well...and being there for them in a way that gets them to take action!

It's not. It's actually quite simple, and can become very easy
once you inherently understand the principles behind it. When
you do, you can market and sell virtually anything to anybody
    effortlessly.

Here's the part that trips you up:

Upon "knowing" people are making thousands and millions of
dollars marketing, you jumped in assuming you would get the
same results -- instantly. Did you not?

It's okay. We all did. Including myself. Because we tell ourselves
it IS as easy as it looks. And it "IS", just...not at first.

Remember when you were a kid and you saw all the other kids
riding their bike without training wheels or with "no hands"?

Upon seeing this you naturally thought it would be as simple as
you jumping on your bike, riding with out trainers, and doing it
    with no hands.

But the moment you got on that bike you found out fast their
was a learning curve. Before you could ride with no hands, you
had to learn how to ride the bike without trainers. And AFTER
you learned how to ride without trainers there was a separate
learning curve to ride without hands.

Not as big a curve as riding without trainers, but a curve nonetheless.

You begged and pleaded for your parents to somehow magically
"give" you the skill of riding a bike perfectly without falling on
your a$$ a few times. Yet, you came to the reality the learning
curve is unavoidable and failing was our natural way to learn.

    Marketing is the same way.

Every skill has a different learning curve, and can be sped up
with mentorship and coaching, but even than it cannot be avoided.

Trust me on this, as you screw up a few times and hook up with
the right people you will see how easy marketing can be. You'll
spot the real opportunities from the junk, the real coaches from
the fakes, and the best training from the rest.

In a way, it'll come "natural" to you, but not without going through
    your own process.
