If you doubt, you'll crash. Here's why...

Earlier this week I had a flying dream. Not the first time I've had
one, and I'm sure it won't be the last.

In my flying dreams I'm just flying with my arms outstretched
and propelled by thought, I guess.

So, in this latest flying dream I was motoring along, flying. And
I began to wonder how I was able to do it. Then I started losing
altitude...

I realized what was going on; that I was causing my own loss of
power - so to speak. And I tried to consciously "think" myself to
fly. I was thinking... no, willing myself to fly, gain altitude and all
that good stuff.

Nope. Didn't work. I continued descending and woke up before
impact. Then I laid there and thought about it.

Don't think too much. And don't doubt. You'll crash.

Ken, thank God it was only a dream. Fear, doubt is the opposite of faith. Nothing takes a man down like doubt. Apostle Peter, according to the Holy Book, can attest to this.

    That's a great post!

I have a similar yet different example. I have a recurring dream where I can literally choose to start floating when I decide to :O

In the dream, I can float as high or low as I want and for however long I want. In the moment, I always feel like I am awake and I have finally been able to float in "real life". But as soon as I "realize" I'm dreaming, the dream ends and I wake up... and when I try to float... it never works (Damn Gravity!!!)

But in general, I think it all ties back to the conscious mind and how our conscious can actually interrupt the power of our subconscious. It gets in the way. When we learn to get out of the way and let our subconscious do its thing... we tap into our true power.
