Don't "Force" Followers, Attract Them

PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT

Who do you think is a better follower? Someone interested in what you have to offer or someone coerced into following you?

A polite invitation is fine but the best followers are people who found you first.

Be REALLY good at what you do so people will follow you.

Any thoughts?

According to Briggs-Myers' Temperament studies, every SP (Artisan") and SJ ("Guardian") has an NF ("Idealist") they follow--SJ's even consider them a "messiah" of sorts. But unlike the SP's, the SJ's will follow only one. Winning over an SP is easy. An SJ is more difficult, but not impossible. And once won over, SJ's are entirely loyal and "hardcore." SP's and SJ's make up at least 75% of the overall population.
