Struggling with self doubt and procrastination

Not to long ago I posted a thread about the Intelligent Warrior Videos and how I had begun using them.Well for whatever reason I have issues getting myself to stick to watching them daily after a few days.I got them to help with motivation and self doubt issues I've had all my life.More or less the inner belief that I am somehow not smart enough or whatever to make a go of internet marketing.I want so badly to do this yet I struggle with these inner issues.Anyone have any advise on how to combat this?

I hear your pain. I've struggled with some of the same self-doubt issues, too. Right now, I'm fiddling around with a daily routine practice. That is, I have set aside 90 minutes every morning and I follow the exact same routine during that 90 minutes. The routine consists of prayer, scripture reading, motivational reading, meditation, and physical exercise. I'm also doing things associated with the Law of Attraction, like EFT and Ho'oponopono. (I can explain those more, if you don't know what they are.)

So, put together a daily morning routine and follow it for a month. See if that makes a difference.

It will need a powerful decision on your side to change.

I suggest you get a Tony Robbins program like 'Get The Edge'. It covers everything you need in that area.

If you follow his advice in the program you'll beat it. If you listen to it and do nothing things will stay the same.

Another great series of motivational input is from Earl Nightengale called "Lead the Field." Brian Tracy also has great stuff.

I have found that I need to feed myself with motivational stuff to stay motivated. Also, each day write a list of 6 things you want to accomplish that day . . . then submit yourself (make yourself a slave) to that list. Until you are good at it, give yourself great perks for following through.

    I hope this helps.

I think the OP already made the decision he wants to change.

Will power IS NOT ENOUGH. (Will power is conscious- habits/beliefs are sub conscious problems).

Affirmations suck and so does most of the "self help" stuff out there. I've seen/read most of it. Its dated and for the most part results (if any) are slow.

How many people quit smoking because of affirmations? I don't know any programs out there that will offer a money back guarantee to quit smoking based on affirmations. Nor do I know anyone that it has worked for them.

Now, how many people quit smoking because of hypnosis? I know atleast 4 people personally that have through one session and stopped smoking a pack a day or less. Some places offer money back guarantee for hypnosis stop smoking.

If I wanted to change myself, I would go with whats proven and is working right now for real average people. I'm using Kevin Hogans Personal Mastery Course (hypnosis on self discipline, confidence, and charisma.) He has probably around 20 books written as of now and many best sellers- hes the real deal, not some "guru". - He was actually recognized as a #1 expert by the guild of hypnotists- or something like that..

If you are serious about change, go with a reputable hypnosis consultant, or if you can't do that, get the recordings I mentioned above as they are very good quality. It will normally take around 17-24 days of listening to a recording for it to be imbedded into your sub conscious and as a habit.

Habits are a sub conscious problem, so why are people trying to combat a sub conscious problem with conscious solutions like affirmations? Because they don't know what they're talking about - Hypnosis has better results quicker, try it out.

A lot of this "self improvement" stuff out there keeps people in the loops of old habits and does not actually help people expect that "feel good" aspect when reading or right after reading. Besides using spiritual principles- the quickest way I've found to change is from using Hypnosis techniques and NLP techniques using audio mind programs. SOME actually WORK!

MM- I didn't realize how few people know about brain research and the effectiveness of subliminal, paraliminal msgs and hypnosis in getting past the baggage of the conscious and into the subconscious where the changes will stick.

If there is a big enough why the motivation will come. you will love what you do so much you will be pulled to doing what needs to be done to make it work. I've been there and when i reached a point where what I was doing wasn't enjoyable any longer or I coundn't make it better I'd explore another area where I could leverage my talents, interests and desire.

Find what you love and the motivation will come. try some tools to help get your head right as well. by getting into your subconscious you leverage time and cut a lot of trial and error out of the process.

I jumped to two related topics but hope it was coherent enough and was helpful.

I could end up writing a chapter on this so I will just recommend three books for postive mindsetting:
Power, Freedom, & Grace by Deepak Chopra
The Mind of the Soul by Gary Zukav
The Intention Experiment by Lynne McTaggart

    Hi
I would say, set aside a specific time to do the tasks every day. Set an alarm (maybe on your phone) to remind you that you need to do it.

Sit down for an hour or so and make as detailed a list as possible as to why you want to do it and keep it within sight. That way it will remind you of why you want to do it.

I would also suggest writing a list of what your life will be like or what you will not achieve by not doing this. Keep this within view and read often to remind you.

Finally, my suggestion would be to get someone you know to contact you about an hour or so after the allotted time set for this, to check with you whether you have done this or not. If not, explanation required.

If you complete this for one month, you should be in the swing of things and have formed a habit, thereby making it easier for you to continue.

    I hope this helps

It will be easier for you to get rid of this problems if you can stick to the improvement process really hard. Everyone has suggested you very well. First,You need to choose the process / processes which you are going to apply to yourself. Then stick to it and don't give up. Because, you may not see the results overnight. Just have faith in you. If you can really believe in yourself that you can do it, then a major part of the work is done.

And Remember friend ,It is never too late.

      Hello Omari Taylor here,

First of all you must have a strong WHY!

I know you probably heard this before but it is a must! And you why shouldn't be more money or to pay off your bills. Be more specific. What are your dream goals you want to reach in your life time? If you're not seeing results right away or your sales have went down, your why will be the only thing that keeps you going until you get where you want to be. You're going to have hard times but this is a learn as you go type business. And the small amounts of effort you put in each day will add up. You just have to be patient.

Also you have to be a sponge and always continue to learn. Talk to people and see what works. The more you know the more money you make so study and network with as many people as possible. This stuff is truly easy, you just and have to have the right mindset. Entrepreneurs are a different breed of person and average people would give up when they find out there's work involved when it comes to being successful online. You not average or else you would have already gave up.

So know you why, keep learning, applying and networking! And keep pushing forward!

Your agony is understandable. Most of the people would have felt the hopelessness and despair in their lives. To overcome that, self motivation, positive thoughts, a bit of yoga and meditation may help. Tell yourself constantly that you can do this and you are not inferior to others in anyway. Your mind will soon calm down and you will find yourself more confident. Then you start doing what you plan to and don't get upset about the initial hiccups, keep doing your work and you will win at the end.
