All you ever have is NOW

Hey Fellow Warriors,

I put together a short video that I thought I would share here. I know that I always get a lot of benefit from short thought provoking or inspiring videos that make me think.

So I decided to create one as well. I hope this gives you some motivation or inspires some ideas for you:

yeah, too much of the "one day I'd like to...." mentality can keep someone in the same spot for years and years until "one day" doesn't come anymore

    Hey Justin...that is awesome man.

I like the idea that becoming something requires action. Even if its a small action, you need to make that action in that initial moment you decide you want to do something or be someone.

If you want to be a runner and decide that as you are climbing into bed, do some little action that memorializes your goal. Take our running clothes and put them next to your bed and set your alarm clock for the run the next morning. Taking that little, seemingly insignificant action can be powerful.

Hey Kenster, thanks for the feedback.

Great point about small actions. Because small actions repeated over time add up quickly and produce major results!

That is my EXACT philsophy in business. I call it the Power of Numbers. As you said, a small result repeated enough times equals a very large result. In terms of internet marketing...if you can find a way to make $10 a day and replicate it 200 times, the result is a large income, despite each individual income stream being seemingly insignificant.

But as you point out, more important than business and money, this same concept is super powerful in life and personal development as well.

Great video! I'd say that it can be hard to make 365 individual choices every day to do the same thing. If you can make that single choice, once, to run every day then it frees you from having to decide to do it every day because the choice has already been made.

It's like programming. If I had a variable that I had to use in every function, I wouldn't declare it every single time, I'd just put it as a global variable so I'd only have to worry about it once.

(who knew those lessons in C that I took in uni could prove to be so philosophical!)

Good point Will. I do agree.

When it comes to something like running where it is "sort of" a habit, I find that you can make a strong decision and commit to it but there are some days where you just don't feel like living up to your commitment. That is when the "choice" is so important. If you just think of it as one simple choice a day, I find it helps take the pressure off but still helps you commit.

    thanks for the comment

Thanks for the Great video, Justin. I am sure this is going to push a lot warriors to action. NOW.

There are a lot people who understand this concept that they have to decide and act, decide and take action now. Despite the understanding, they struggle to take a decision and act on it because of their belief system. Once they confront and clear this belief system, making decisions and acting on them now will be child play for them.

    Great video man!!!

I'd never really looked at the angle of 'If I write for this minute, I'm a writer' etc... as opposed to 'If I write for this minute, I can become a writer'...

    Cheers

When you are aware of the fact that you have 1,440 minutes in a day, you realize that you can actually do many things in one day.
Say for example you want to exercise for half an hour every day. That only takes 30 minutes out of those 1,440... If you put it like that, that's so little!!!

          Nice video MAN!

I just got an email that fits right in with this. Enjoy!

          Something To Think About!

Imagine that you had won the following prize in a contest:

Each morning your bank would deposit $86,400.00 in your private account for your use. However, this prize has rules, just as any game has certain rules.

The first set of rules would be:

Everything that you didn't spend during each day would be taken away from you.
You may not simply transfer money into some other account. You may only spend it.
Each morning upon awakening, the bank opens your account with another $86,400.00 for that day.

          The second set of rules:

The bank can end the game without warning; at any time it can say, It's over, the game is over! It can close the account and you will not receive a new one.
What would you personally do? You would buy anything and everything you wanted, right? Not only for yourself, but for all people you love, right? Even for people you don't know, because you couldn't possibly spend it all on yourself, right?

You would try to spend every cent, and use it all, right?
          ACTUALLY, this GAME is REALITY!

Each of us is in possession of such a magical bank. We just can't seem to see it.

          The MAGICAL BANK is TIME!

Each morning we awaken to receive 86,400 seconds as a gift of life, and when we go to sleep at night, any remaining time is NOT credited to us. What we haven't lived up that day is forever lost. Yesterday is forever gone. Each morning the account is refilled, but the bank can dissolve your account at any time....WITHOUT WARNING. SO, what will YOU do with your 86,400 seconds?

Aren't they worth so much more than the same amount in dollars? Think about that, and always think of this: Enjoy every second of your life, because time races by so much quicker than you think. So take care of yourself, be Happy, Love Deeply and enjoy life!
